Better depends on who you're asking. So for Microsoft stockholders who have become wealthy they may very well think Bill Gates in a better human being. But for someone who is very devoted to a Catholic lifestyle they probably think the Pope is a better human being. But the truth seems to be that they are both human beings with aspects of each of them that are better- and worse- than the other.

Bill Gates, as much as I despise Microsoft and hate to admit it that man does help allot of people with his money. The pope could probably take lessons from Bill Gates.

If you asked Bill Gates or Pope I would say: both.
They both have their strength and weaknesses, and played a role in their line of work. They have contributed to society and affected the way we live.

If you asked Bill Gates or Steve Jobs I would say:

Bill is a typical businessman, whereas Steve is a visionary.
Bill has invented enough software that is buggy and flawed and prowned to security issues. Steve has been a trend setter with Mac and IPOD. Gates outsources his work. Steve co-develop his work. Gates doesn't care how people interact with computer as long as people pay up to use his stuff. Steve isn't in the business for money. He's got style and created style for people.

My vote goes to Steve Jobs and Apple's future is in good hands.

Bill Gates and Bono. They have at least both have made efforts to help others. The Pope hasn't done anything except be the "president" of a religion.

Alexander Pope was a brilliant 17th century writer and critic. Antonio Gates is an outstanding tight end for the San Diego Chargers. Tough decision.....I'd have to go with Pope.
