It is a way of life based on the Bible. It is true Christianity. Just as the Bible teaches, Jesus Christ is the son of God (who's personal name is Jehovah). The ransom sacrifice paid by Jesus is the basis for salvation (everlasting life on paradise earth, also explained in the Bible). It is an all or nothing religion for the rest of your life. If you are willing to vow your life in service to Jehovah, you will be rewarded now and in the future.

Jehovah's Witnesses is a Christian religion well known for its preaching work about the eventual restoration of a paradise earth as the hope for most of mankind. Globally, more than 6 million active Witnesses preach from door-to-door each month, and more than 12 million associate themselves with Jehovah's Witnesses.

Yes, it is a Christian denomination. They DO believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior, but they DO NOT believe that he was God incarnate (or "God made man"). They believe that God is a single entity, not a Trinity.

"Jehovah's Witnesses are members of an international religion that claims to be the restoration of first-century Christianity. Their preaching, evangelistic, and publishing activities are extensive, with The Watchtower and Awake! religious magazines being their most widely known publications. Headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, they are directed by a Governing Body. Each local congregation is led by a group of elders who are appointed by representatives of the Governing Body. Their official membership currently stands at over 6.7 million."

They are not christian. The poor people are caught up in a cult.
The founder was a notorious lying convict. They misleed people into joining their group. They believe that the watchtower works are as important as the bible. They have skewed interpretations of the bible. A JW baptism is not acepted as a valid christian baptism. ie someone could switch from baptist to lutheran to catholic and then presbytyrian and not have to be rebaptised. Not so with jw's. There beliefs are too far out there.
Don't just take my word on it. Their are many anti-cult sites on the internet. Here are some.

It is more of a cult trying to make money off of the church.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe in a diminished Christ. They believe in the big God - God the Creator and then the little God Jesus Christ who is the same as Michael (because they don't understand Michael is an angel and not the Son of God).
Who tells them these things? The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society which is really a money making organization.

They ARE Christians, moreso than most IMO.
They do believe in Jesus as our savior.
They do use the NWT, but are not the only ones who do and they usually will use other translations for reference to make sure they get the gist of what a passage is trying to convey.
The great majority of these people have no idea what they are talking about.

They are not Christians, they do NOT regard Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, they don't even believe that He's the son of God, They don't believe in the Bible, they have their own version called THE NEW WORLD TRANSLATION where they have doctored it up and changed all of the words pertaining to Christs' Deity, Words Jesus spoke Himself out of His mouth and rewrote the whole bible. The bible says that anyone who changes the words of His Word is accursed and so they are.

They are not Christian. They believe a whole lot of stuff that they changed in their Bible and they use the Watchtower to guide them. They also believe every other religion is false so there is not a lot of room for tolerating other religions there then.
