There are all natural products which protect your hair from the chemicals in the water, minerals in the ocean etc. It's called Swimmers and Sports Rejuvenating shampoo and conditioner by Jason There are others versions available as well at your local pharmacy, department store or salon.

ya it does actually if you are blonde like your avator is your hair can turn green. i am blonde too and the best way to get rid of green is to use ketchup. i no that it may sound weird but it really works. after you have that in for at least 10 minutes i would use a color protecting shampoo and hydrating conditioner. hydrating conditioner because the clorien actually takes out the moisture and vitual oils that you need in your hair. i use Garnier Fructis fortifieing shampoo and conditioner it makes my hair silky smooth even in the hot dry weather or in the water.

There are some shampoos and conditioners made for people who swim alot. Go to your beauty store and ask them if they have it or where you can find it.

You could wear a shower cap, use a water proof, moisture proof, extra strength styling gel. Or just recomb it with styling gel, when you're done swiming. That's what I do.
