Go to Kraftfoods on the net and look under especially for kids under search by meal occasion. They are easy to make, fun and the kids will actually eat them...at least my son does. Here is an example:

1 Tbsp. MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
1 pita bread
1 slice OSCAR MAYER Cooked Ham
1 baby carrot
1 tomato wedge
1 KRAFT STRING-UMS String Cheese

SPREAD dressing onto pita bread.
DECORATE with ham, carrot and tomato to resemble a face, using cut-up ham for the eyes, the carrot for the nose and tomato for the mouth.
PULL string cheese into thin strips; add to top of head for the hair.

Enjoy!

Kids recipes are so much fun!!!!!!!!!

There are some seriously good recipes that are "different"....I am going to share a few...I hope you enjoy them...

Roll-Ups:

12 inch tortillas
ham
cheese
mustard
shredded lettuce

Layer tortillas with all that, roll tight, wrap tighter, fridge for 30, and cut into one inch bites and serve with chips.

Taco Salad:

Doritos
Ground round made with taco seasoning (like you were going to make tacos)
Shredded Lettuce
tomato
onion
black olives
1 bag shredded mexican cheese

Toppings:
Salsa
Sour Cream
Guac

Mix all the salad ingredients together and top with toppings.

Coney Island Casserole:

One package hot dogs, sliced
One package buns, broken up
One can chili for hot dogs
One bag shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all in a greased 9 X 13 pan and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

****I know this sounds gross as hell, but it is good as hell (and I don't eat hotdogs)

Make individual Pizzas:

Buy pre made crust, let kids top with whatever they want (you give them an assortment of choices that arent going to be gross)

Cook in oven at 350 until toppings melt (or get crisp and cheese melts)

There are a ton of them, go my answers, you will find alot more.

Good luck!!!!!!!

My boys started out on spaghetti! They boiled the noodles and I taught them how to turn down the heat and wait for the noodles to get done. I showed them how to brown and drain the hamburger meat and bought them bottles of Ragu Sauce in a jar. My sons made it all the time and shook the Parmesan cheese on top just like mommy! Very easy and not too messy. I hope our kids enjoy it as much as mine did!

The kids can wrap the meats around the cheese and place it in the shells, mix the sauce and water and pour it over the noodles.

"Cordon Bleu" Manicotti
1 pkg (12) string cheese snacks
12 slices each deli sliced ham and chicken breast
12 manicotti shells
1 jar pasta sauce
3/4 cup water
shredded parmesan cheese

Roll ham and chicken slices around each string cheese snack and slide into mannicotti shells. Mix water with pasta sauce. Pour a little sauce into bottom of baking dish. Place Manicotti in baking dish and pour remaining sauce over shells. Bake covered with aluminum foil (or if baking with covered dish, cover with lid) bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until pasta is tender. Top with parmesan and serve.

For this recipe, the kids can juice the oranges and scrape the pan to create the sorbet.
BLOOD ORANGE SORBET
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups blood orange juice

In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring water and sugar to a simmer and simmer for 2 minutes to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat and cool. Stir in the juice and taste for sweetness. Make the sorbetto according to the manufacturer's instructions for your ice cream maker. Or pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it into the freezer for 1 hour. Break up the ice particles with a fork every hour until a smooth, frozen consistency is achieved.

You can halve this recipe, the kids can measure and sprinkle the berries.
RASPBERRY COBBLER
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together 1 cup each sugar, flour and skim milk just until blended; whisk in 1/2 cup butter (melted). Pour batter into an 8-by-12-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with 2 cups frozen raspberries and 1/4 cup sugar. Bake about 1 hour or until golden

if your asking about the snack about 3ish when they get pesky and riled up but its not quite time for dinner. its peanut butter and honey on wheat. but if you mean dinner itself. a good quick one is to use scissors cut up chicken into chunks and then i use my george foreman grill to cook it. i put it and a bit of water in a skillet to add spices (for me its chili powder, a touch of cayanne, onion, garlic, paprika,) (sorry im not a measurer. i feel it out. conversion wont make a difference in this case anyway.) to and let the water boil off. and then i layer refried beans (i make my own from navys with onion and garlic and a touch of salt), chicken and shredded cheese on wheat tortillas again on my george foreman and grill til they have lines thats usually when the cheese is good and melted. chicken quesadillas. im sorry you get hassled over the mum thing. there are a lot of very young american moms on here and some of them just havent seen any of the world outside of their own lives yet. i personally think its cool that some on here are from OZ or the UK.

Make mini pizzas, using English Muffins, and have them top it with their favorite sausages, or pepperoni slices, several kinds of cheese, etc. Toast the English Muffins first, top with whatever, then stick them in the oven til the cheese melts and gets a bit brown on top.

A lot depends upon the kids ages and matrutity level, and if you trust them w/ a stove. (teach them how to use it, then periodically check them by asking them to turn a burner to low, medium, high, or off.)

Anyway, I digress......

Scrambled Eggs
Cheesy Eggs (processed cheese melted into almost-done scrambled eggs)
Cheese Toast
Cinnamon Toast (butter bread, cinn-sugar, toaster oven)
Apple wedges spread w/ PNB (& raisins, if they like them)
