Labatt is a lager beer which is all v. well in hot weather. It's a copy of a pure German original. The Czech pils lagers are the tastiest lagers.
Before you can judge you need to try all the other kinds of Beers: Ales, Bitter, Stout, Mild, Draft Ales and bottled, homemade brews are sometimes the best. And you need to try them dozens of times each as most are a developed taste. Loads of companies/breweries make them in the UK and Europe, microbreweries often make the best. If you've still only had larger you've got a long way to go w. you research, may the force be w. you!
Allegedly warm English beer is actually cellar temperature 55F which makes the molecules move a lot faster than frozen so you can taste everything that went into it. We get 2 - 3 v. hot weeks per year on which I'll have stone cold lager usually w. a lemon top which makes it Shandy or hard cider 5% abv. and freezing, perfect.

I personally like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Victory Hop Devil Ale... both dark micro-brews. Those however are for drinking and enjoying. Best beer to pound while tailgating for a baseball or football game... gotta go with Miller Light.
