Yes. Not jail, prison.... Did you know that all convicted sex offenders have to register (after their time in prison) for everyone to see who they are, and where they live and their crime? This information can be found at www.criminalcheck.com. You need to stay far far away from her from now on. You can certainly be arrested for this. I sure do hope that she is not a small child. If so, you deserve prison or worse. If she is older, they can call it statutory rape.

It depends on how old the daughter is and the age of consent in your state. If she's under the age of consent, you could certainly be charged with some sort of crime against a minor.

i think of gaol use to be an English spelling.
