my godmother called my mom and is giving her a hand with random things, stuff like she went to a wedding and the cake was yummy so she got the name of the person who did it for us, she is on the hunt for some wedding items we are having trouble finding. I also think she is being mom's lean-on person when wedding stuff gets her frazzeled. Then again my mom and godmom have always been really close (which is why she's my godmom!).

Offer your assistance to the Bride or her Mum
Do you have a special talent? Recite a poem, say a prayer, host a shower. Nothing expected that you NEED to do but I'm certain that your talents would be appreciated by both.

Best person to ask is the bride. It should be hers and her groom's decision who plays what part in their wedding.
