It does matter. Don't do it. I belong to a gym and just yesterday the instructor cancelled the class because the a/c was out. When your heart rate goes up while exercising in a hot room it could have bad results. Better to be safe than sorry.

Working out in a room that's a little hotter than average will make you sweat more, which will help you to release toxins from your body. You should make sure you drink plenty of water afterwards though to re-hydrate your body properly.

It probably doesn't matter. The gym where I go is always cold, but you'd sweat more in a hotter room.

Work out in a room that is normal temperature. Working out in warm rooms just increase the amount of sweat your body produces. The point of working out is not to rob your body of water but to build muscle and endurance. Losing water does not allow your body to function at its peak level.

Well, it is, but the difference is very minimal. Your body burns a few more calories trying to cool itself in a hotter room.
I'd rather be more comfortable than try to squeeze out those few extra calories, though.

the only supposed benefit to extra heat is to sweat of extra pounds with the same effort

this you can do in a sauna after your workout

make a room too warm when working out you will find yourself recovering from passing out on the floor due to heat exaustion

Sweating does help shed the pounds, but it'll also make you feel light headed and if you work yourself too hard and it gets too warm, you may even faint. Keep a good couple bottles of water next to you and keep yourself hydrated.

you want to workout in a room that is at a comfortable temperature. the gym i go to has a temperature of 74 degrees inside and there are fans everywhere....i still sweat....you don't want to dehydrate and keel over.
