An example of Jewish apocryphal literature in the Qur'an. In the Qur'an version of Cain and Abel, not only does the story follow the Jewish Talmud, but they are repeated almost word-for-word in the Qur'an. The writers of the Qur'an did not recognize this as folklore and included it as part of the text. Christian apocryphal sources are also evident. For instance, the Palm tree in the account of Mary after Jesus' birth (sura 19:22-26) comes from the so called LOST BOOKS OF THE BIBLE. The account of the infant Jesus creating birds out of clay (sura 3:49) is found in the GOSPEL OF THOMAS while the account of the baby Jesus talking (sura 19:29-33) can be traced to ARABIC APOCRYPHAL FABLE. Another example, in (Sura 4:157) it says "they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them". This is almost word- for-word taken from THE GOSPEL OF BARNABAS written by Gnostic Christians of the 1st century, while the GOSPELS that are in the Bible were written between 50-70 AD/CE

What damages the credibility of the Qur'an is that these works of fiction are within it. If a person or persons were to really try to make the Qur’an credible, it seems to me that this fictitious folklore that many Historians, Archeologist, Biblical Scholars both Secular & Jewish/Christian believers and most importantly the vast pile of evidence that all prove that these stories in the Qur’an are folklore should be taken out of the Qur’an.

So? What's you point? That it was copied?
If this was so, why wasn't everything copied? Becasue there are somethings I know for sure that haven't been copied from the Bible and Talmud.
The Quran have it yes. That means that it is true. These things did happen. But if you go very deep in the Quran, you will find that no Prophet have been drunk n no prophet is the son of god. It is in the Bible is it not?

"seer1213" said it all. The Qur'an was sent down because Christianity became corrupt, and the Bible was changed from its original form, Muslims believe in all the miracles of Jesus, we just don't believe that Jesus is God's son.

convinced, the presumption by Christians that they recognize what's surprising for the total international, no longer in simple terms their very own little club. you word that no longer in basic terms do you no longer see Jews firebombing red Lobster, yet you also do not see Jews firebombing abortion clinics. convinced i imagine you're excellent once you're saying that the Christians who're spoken maximum pretty of include those who attempt to variety their very own lives after the existence of Jesus without attempting to stress others by chance or coercion or violence. human beings ought to particularly see the outcome of an party, see if this is solid or undesirable themselves instead of being threatened.
