If a muslim british citizen has a caution for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and one speeding conviction, how easy will it be for that person to visit the USA for holiday.

This person got the conviction because he grabbed a baseball bat to chase away a gang of lads who had commenced a racially motivated attack on on one of his neighbours. He basically was trying to save someone's life in response to cry for help from the mother of a boy who was being beaten up by youths. But by the time he got to the scene the bad lads had escaped and the police caught him at the scene with a bat -hence the caution.

He is otherwise a law abiding citizen who loves enjoys the Great Outdoors and wants to visit USA for leisure.

But I hear the Americans have recently become DRACONIAN about allowing anyone to enter the States with any kind of tarnish against their name.

sorry to tell you this but you are a victim of stereotypical nonsense. Your view of Americans is in the same context as you assume their view is of you.

I visit the US frequently and although there security is tight (as it should be) there is absolutely no problem for the law abiding citizens.

If your friend or "you" are a british citizen i.e carry a UK passport then u dont even need a visa, just book the flight and off you go, just make sure that when u land in the US you are not carrying any weapons, C4, or anything else that can be misconstrued as offensive. The US is quite a right wing nation so keep that in mind.

If you have a UK Passport you don't need a visa. Theres a load of tick boxes to fill in on the back of the immigration form you get when you arrive - just don't tick the one that says you have a criminal conviction. If you're worried about then apply for a proper tourist visa, its not really big hassle and it'll one less thing for you to worry about. If you say that you have a criminal conviction you'll have to give them a bit more info about what the conviction was for etc, but for a caution I don't think they'll be too bothered.

Well it seems there is a Jewish and Christian conspiracy to Masquerade as Muslims and kill innocent civilians and try and get the world to think that Muslims did it and all terrorists are Muslim I guess so you might find it a little difficult.

That should be pretty easy because that is a misdemeanor. Just apply for a visitor's visa.
