Supermarket lemon juice is made with artificial flavourings to re-create an authentic lemon flavour which will not disappear after a few days (as it would in freshly squeezed lemon juice). Washing up liquid is made with real lemons because the citric acid extracted from the lemons helps to break down dirt and grease when doing the dishes.

If you squeeze fresh lemons and do not add any thing it has got no additives ? then you can drink it without additives !
But if you have the desire 2 drink lemon washing up liquid think the lack of additives is the least of your worries xx

Lucky for me I always use real lemons and I can't stand lemon scented cleaners, but I agree it is a bit mentally challenged. People obviously buy the stuff, or it wouldn't be around.
