No, they do not confuse freedom of religion with freedom from ridicule.
I think if more Christians would realize that trying to answer the likes of you is throwing pearls to swine, they'd stop bothering with you.
And I think if you were truly strong in your belief you wouldn't find the need to be immature and ridicule people because of what they believe.

We could say that you non-beliefs are what is fantasy. I wish that someone would explain why a non-believer ever participates on a Christian site. If there was an atheist site I would not ever think of getting on there and belittleing your beliefs. I think that non-believers think they are wrong and are searching for what is right.
Jesus loves you and wants you to come into the light. No one is going to say I told you that you were wrong. Just for the sake of what you don't believe, what if you are wrong, are you willing to take that chance?

Nice advertisement, and good job hiding it with a question mark.
As for the anti-Christian sentiment, you should know that you cannot argue an issue of faith. Those that believe will do so regardless of the logic, history, or rationality that is thrown at them. Leave them be.
Besides, it took 4,000 years for the ancient Egyptian religions to remove themselves from the timeline (neo-pagan Egyptian pantheon worshippers notwithstanding). Give it time.

All thought/belief systems can be rigid ('religious'). When we lose the awe of the Mystery of Existence and settle into the 'I know', we shut down. If I become rigid with my scientific beliefs, I am no different than the fundamentalist on the corner, shouting biblical literalism to the masses.

The same could be said of Atheists. But I believe that people who ridicule other people for whatever reason are obviously people with problems with low self-esteem. They belittle others to make themselves feel bigger or better.

Wow, you're in simple terms as ignorant because the individuals you describe. the problem we as Christians have is in case you don't like the religion, in simple terms ignore it. once you attack our idea equipment by saying "even as your beliefs defy the guidelines of physics or nature---liking speaking snakes--that's in simple terms ludicrous" you're literally not in simple terms attacking the religion, you're attacking us in my opinion. Take word that our religious idea is part of our personality, so what you're saying is that we are ludicrous human beings. that's a own attack, and that is what we don't like. in case you prefer to attack the religion, attack the religion, yet do not commence critizing our idea by using the undeniable fact that's a own attack, and in case you probably did it to my face, there's a great threat you're next truth will be to the nurse on the hospital of what your coverage organisation is.

It goes both ways I couldn't count how many atheists complain about about being ridiculed on this site. Fanatics suck but atheists suck and burn in hell.
