Heck No!! Better to wait in you later years when you are matured and focused. When you have found who you are and what you want to be and you are content with yourself? Are you there? If not, you are no where near ready to get married. Enjoy your singleness. There is plenty of time to find a boyfriend and eventually get married...no hurry, sweetie.

Don't worry about you are 23 and don't have a girlfriend. There are people much older than you who don't have some one in their life and one of the reasons is that they know what they are looking for in some one and will not settle for any one at all.

For it is best to take your time than to meet some one that can make your life miserable.

Just remember this. It is best to take your time and don't rush into marriage as a lot of men and women. Once you put the ring on their finger they change and the person you loved so much is a completely different person. Lots of people have said that at this point they wish they knew this before as they would not have married the person they are with.

I would think that it betters your chances considering how jealous and judgemental women can be when it comes to relationships.

However, why you would want to get married is beyond me.

What purpose would it serve? What's the point? Why can't you just have a girlfriend or something?

I am single and plan to stay that way for the rest of my life. As it stands I have several friends with benefits, no obligations and no responsibilities. I have no desire to raise my blood pressure and lower my standard of living.

As it stands I can drive all the way to Florida, spend an hour on the beach reading a book and then drive all the way back for no other reason save that I goddamn FELT like it. I don't need permission from a partner or have anybody to explain myself to. There is no amount of bullshit if I stay out until 4 in the morning and no regrets for anything I do. Why wouldn't you want that?
Without a wife and children you only have ONE mouth to feed and the rest of that money goes into your pocket.

Take your freedom and cherish it- stop looking for something that will only cause problems. What you're looking for is only a lifetime bond of involuntary servitude and will only bury you up to your neck in ****. A lifelong abyss of neurosis and drama is not something to look forward to, it's something to be avoided at all costs.

If you want companionship buy a dog.

My brother is a very good man, he will do anything for anybody. He is college educated, he doesn't drink or smoke and to top it off he is handsome. He didn't have a gf until he was 26 yrs old! (he is kind of shy) He met his gf while being a cameaman at a local club. He was still living at home! I was shocked when I answered the phone and a female on the other end actually asked for him by his first name only! I was like WTF? They were married 2 years later and now they have 5 beautiful children. Just don't give up hope, she will come along one day. It might happen when you least expect it.

probably reduces it slightly. 23. most people have dated someone by then. I know a couple of guys that didn't lose their virginity until 24 and they are very eligable. don't worry there is someone for you but you may consider looking into the reason you haven't dated. Is it your looks, your shy, what is it? Then work on improving that area to make you more attractive to women.

for a guy aged 23--its still too young for u to be worrying about that. honestly, im pretty much impressed by u bcoz at that age u still dont have a girlfriend. u know what, u dont actually have to look for one in order to find the perfect one. u just have to be on ur knees & ask that from God bcoz He is the only one who can give u the perfect one. dont worry about other people teasing u or making fun of u bcoz u still dont have a girlfriend...bcoz u know better than that.

but thats not the most unfortunate thing. my boyfriend found me at the age of 26 and i am his very first girlfriend...and we're literally a "match made in heaven". and its really different & special when u allow God to write ur love story. so just wait for that...she will come (when u pray). she is worth waiting for.

I wouldn't think so. :) Any girl worth the water that her body holds won't mind the lack of experience. I'm sure you're worth the wait. :) You'll get married when you find the right girl someday. Or maybe you won't. Put your energy into building character and a life that makes you happy instead of trying to find a girl. The right girl will be attracted to your well-founded character.

Well let's think on your statement...

I would say YES The simple fact is that you would need to acquire one first in order to make the trip to the altar.

Try going to a church or social function in clean freshly pressed clothing. Smile ans strike up a conversation with a girl of your choice.
