"tasting good" is sometimes mind over manner. You need to retrian your taste buds. As much as diet soda and sweetners do not add calories, they do add a lot of sweetness, then you crave more sweetness (one of my particular downfall).

Learn to drink ice tea (unsweetened) or very lightly sweetened.

I believe that if I start my day right, I'm set, so I'm sure to eat a good breakfast. At age 48, I've learned that its time for the cereal route. It's filling, full of nutrition and easy. This year my kick has been on instant oatmeals. I keep them at work, add hot water and 1/2 a banana and I eat it at my desk. Not quite as satisfying as a bagel with cream cheese, but truly just as filling and now slump mid morning!

Eat lots of veggies (bagged salads are quick and easy). Simple meats (leave off the gravies and toppings).

Weight Watchers says to shop the outter aisles of the store. Don't go up and down middle ones they're loaded with preprocessed food high in salt and refinded flours, little nutrients and high calories.

Don't put yourself on a diet. Just cut back on the portions that you eat. No seconds. Have a couple of cookies or a piece of cake if you want to once or twice a week and you won't feel like you are on a diet at all. Don't fry anything. Steam, bake, or broil. That's better for you anyway. Eat lots of veggies, just watch portion sizes on potatoes, corn, and any starches. One member of our family gained an enormous amount of weight from taking medication, they lost 110 lbs. in 18 months just by cutting back on the amount that they ate. You can do this if you really want to, you know you can. I hope this helps.

Stay away from starches such as potatoes, rice, pasta and breads, muffins, bagels and the like. Eat more fruits, vegetables and any product that has WHOLE Grain added. Drink as much water as you possibly can/ If you drink other beverages make sure they are diet.

stay away from the chips, desserts and ice cream. Along with changing your eating habits you must increase your activity to burn more calories than you consume.

if you are on the low card diet .... my favorite is take a piece of foil and place pepperonis all over but line up the pepperonis so that you do not see the foil and then sprinkle with mozzarella and heat in oven or toaster oven till the cheese is melted (i like it melted and browned) u have an aw-some low carb PIZZA

If you want to lose weight do not include food in your plan

the more food you include the less weight you lose
the less food you include the more weight you will lose

stay away from any foods that are white breads milk rice potatoes pasta
