I was actually laughing out loud when I read your question...thanks for the laugh!!! I completely agree with what you are saying! Although, like yourself, I totally respect one's right to believe whatever jibberish he or she chooses to believe. One of my personal favorites that you left out, is that people actually believe that a man lived inside a whale's belly! How hysterical is that! I know that there are some christians who believe that these stories are primarily symbolic in nature, but there are many fundamentalists who believe the bible quite literally.
Furthermore, I can't believe that anyone can actually believe in the concept of hell. They claim that God is benevolent and all loving, then go on to claim that we will burn in hell for all eternity of we disobey his will. It seems rather unfair to me that some people may only get 17 years to find Jesus and repent from their sins, while others may get a lifetime. What if someone lived a life of sin and didn't believe in Jesus up until age 18...what if he or she then died that year. Is it fair to condemn someone to hell for all eternity based on 18 years of life? If you had a child and he disobeyed you, renouncing you as his father, would you build a large pit in your back yard and burn him to death? Of course not! How absurd! Yet we are supposed to believe that God, who loves with a love greater than we can even comprehend would? It would be funny if it wasn't so scary!!
These people (and of course there are variations and not everyone believes the same way) often don't believe in UFO's, conspiracy theories, or that GW Bush invaded Iraq for less than pure intentions, but they have no problems believing that satan planted fossil evidence to lead human beings astray (yes I have actually heard MANY christians assert this). It's unbelievable!!!!

Thats it? Sounds like your having a good time with all that laughing. I am glad there are those that give you pleasure in your life. Let me see if I can answer a few of your questions (just from a fellow mortal's point of view).
How can someone believe 1 being created the entire universe? That is easy. What else happenened?? Big bang? Yes, I imagine God was just that.........zillions of years (if that is what you would call an unknown expanse of time) of void.......then something like a populated universe......Bang. Yeah, I think that would be a great sound to use. Ppl flying. Whats wrong with that? I don't know that the devil is red and I don't know that the Christ talked at birth (as far as verbal communication goes). Book of Life I don't see what is so funny here. Perhaps you care to share? Rivers of milk and honey is more of a poetic language term thing here. I don't recall the wine river......Rhine - yes. Sounds like you've got some sort of Sunday school thing all mixed up.....Not that I am trying to be rude but it sounds to me like a childs misconception.
You ask how can christians be so gullible well I ask how can someone be so simple-minded not to believe in magnificent things, the extraordinary. So God wanted to have a son is that a bad thing??? Should it bother us?
...........stuff and more stuff. I'll deny the existence of Peter Pan if I want to....not that I am & he didn't have wings - just so you know. I am very much awake and I can enjoy life right here. Thank you for caring, friend.

I believe that a Being created the universe.
Don't believe in people flying with wings or a red man with horns and a staff or a baby talking at birth.
I believe in the Book of Life because by reading and understanding it, I have a life now and didn't before.
Rivers of honey and milk ... sounds good to me
Rivers of wine?
God does have a Son, His name is Jesus and He's my Savior.
I also believe in evolution, just like you.
Oh, and you didn't ask a question btw.

let me pick this apart for you.
There are plenty of reasonable explainations put forth by philosophers and theologians alike to explain the 'proof' of a God; unmoved mover etc. Ontological Argument etc...
People do not have wings. People will never have wings, even in heaven. I think you MIGHT be thinking of Angels----who have angelic nature and not human nature. And even then we are simply stating artists depiction of them......
Devil with horns; I think most of that comes from Dante, not the Bible. The word Satan in hebrew actually is a legal term meaning accuser. Read the book of JOB; you will get a better picture of a biblical understanding of who Satan is.
A baby talking at birth? I have no idea what your talking about.
Book of life, rivers flowing of milk and honey----you should try doing a bible study. Much of this is literary technique and would be better understood if you had a better comprehension of the socio-economic status of the hebrew nomadic people.
Anyways, I think you get my point........

The mistake is made by both sides - taking the symbols literally. Virgin birth is a metaphor (used in other religions, too) for the awakening to a reality that is not confined to one's individual consciousness (an enlightenment experience). The Christ and the Sonship are symbols for the unity of Creation (the non-dualistic nature of ultimate reality - e.g. Buddha nature is the equivalent). Symbols that point to things that can't be described. It's all how ya use the symbols -- literally or as helpful aids.

=( You cannot equate God with the toothfairy. I'm sorry that you are so closed minded. I hope that you will consider other points of view and not limit yourself to what you've stated. Religion is not a big fable or myth. Christianity is not a hoax. There is a God that loved you and us all so much that he sent His Son to die on the cross, so that our sins could be forgiven. Please read The Case for Faith by Lee Strobel and some of his other books like The Case for Easter. Lee Strobel was an atheist journalist who set out to prove that Christianity was false and found out after investingating that Christianity is true. God bless you.

no, you wake up!!! okay where to begin! who said people have wings? angels do. I have this before, satan LOVEs the image of a little red man with horns, it means poeple don't believe he exists, and therefore, he can always temp them, and they won't try to avoid him. Jesus didn't talk at bith. where did you hear that. the bible is "the book of life" and it took 300 years to make, there has to be some truth in that. milk and honey...uhh...its called you taking things to seriously! yes God had a Son, but you are missing one part that cannot be understood by man. its called the blessed trinity. 3 persons in 1 God, kinda like a shamerock. 3 leaves, still one plant. don't try to understand it, only after death can you. lake of fire, ocean of lava...yeah its called hell, and if you don't straighten up...well never mind, I shouldn't judge like that. nI can debeate you till you fall a sleep if you want, but whos to say it'll do anything for you, you have to change yourself! (and next time, get your facts straight)

i'm no longer Christian yet some human beings see what they pick to ascertain. in case your suggestions is on one ingredient that you revere and is continually on your suggestions, then in spite of it is you'll detect. it is the creative suggestions that sorts that photo. as an celebration contained in the Rorschach try each and every individual is given pictures of ink blots and requested to describe what they see. arguable as this try is, it does tutor that it calls for a level of 'intelligence' to sort pictures. So even as a monkey or a canines can not see some thing except say the scent of the ink or purely as a blot, the 'larger' sort of animal (supposedly the human) will see issues in it. for sure the better wilder the photo that you be conscious the better you're in route of being 'psychotic'. So, gullibility isn't the question right here, it truly is what you be conscious in sorts and shapes it is contained in the middle of your question. So what's on your suggestions? if you're not from now on seeing issues in sorts and shapes it ought to represent that you're not from now on creative. have not you tried to ascertain issues in clouds? it isn't a naive workout. it truly is an workout in creativity. i'm no longer attempting to take care of 'Christians' nor chastising your line of wondering, i'm purely providing yet another perspective. thanks on your question.

I things you mention (Angels with wings the devil with horns) are mainly symbolic. Satan is real but I doubt if he has a tail and horns. God is real but I don't think he has wings (nor do the angels). How can you be so gullible as to think we evolved from fish.
