Do they judge people who have left the church and condemn them to hell?If so they should read the 7th chapter of Matthew.Do they back up their teaching with more references to the bible or do they seem to speak only from within themselves. If that's the case get out and find a church that preaches the bible.

Most of my congregation conducts itself with love. You find exceptions everywhere, but that's no reason to give up on the whole church. Some people leave a church because of the judgmental attitudes of some of their members, but in doing that, aren't we judging them too? (Yes, I've been guilty of that too.) In the end, you have to go where you feel the most comfortable. But giving up on the church is like throwing out the baby with the bathwater. My mother probably has the best attitude. She goes for what she gets out of it, and doesn't worry about everyone else. She may not agree with everyone, but she doesn't let them stop her from enjoying the service and what God does for her in the church. Maybe if we all lived our lives (in and out of church) more like that, the world would be a better place.

Our church can't condemn anyone to hell, that's God's job, not ours. Our pastor (Dr. Ed Young, PhD) generally teaches a specific story or chapter from the Bible, giving historical background so that we can better understand what is being said.

We conduct ourselves with Love, both in church and out of church.

Fear seems to be the guiding force in most so-called religious teachings I have been hearing lately.

Love means that Jesus is returning in the hearts of those who have accepted his message and try to live their lives to emulate his teachings. Few actually do this. It requires a radically different interpretation of love from the one understood by most so-called believers. Most people see love as something that you keep in reserve only for those you have judged worthy of it.

This is not love at all. This is only judgment. Judgment is the exact opposite of what Jesus was teaching. Remember judge not lest ye be judged.

Jesus asks us to love our neighbor. Notice that there is no accept for in this statement. Every one is intended to be included in this love Jesus ask us to have for our fellow man. This type of universal application of love requires no judgment on our part because Jesus’' intent was that no one be left out of it.

This is a difficult pill to swallow for any religion that thinks of it's self as being the one true and only correct way to God. This idea of exclusivity is the exact opposite of the message of inclusively that Jesus gave us.

Attaining the goals that Jesus set for us may be difficult within the constraints most religions impose. This is why many who seriously try to emulate the true teachings of Jesus in their lives do not ascribe to any particular religious following. They follow the truth in their hearts where Jesus has taken up residence.

Love and blessings.

I agree!......some man made churches will throw you away when you leave the church!..but I thank God that He will never leave us or forsake us (Heb. 13: 5)....people throw others away when they leave the church not realizing that their time may be up at that particular church and that GOD has a plan for their life!...After all, GOD Is In Control!..........Keep Preaching The Bible (WORD OF GOD)........GOD BLESS!....

The christian religion conducts itself with fear in every aspect.

How else could you get all these poor souls to become members of your church? Y'all scare them to death and keep them scared......same way GWB does with his country.

Always with love and respect and humbleness. Love for God and each other and for all of our brothers and sisters. And we pray that all will be brought to Salvation. Respect for who God is and respect for each other. We humble ourselves before God and pray that He will bring us to the center of His will. And we pray that each time we come together that everything said and done will will bring Honor and Glory to His Kingdom.
