The best hoagies are at Gooey Louie's..East Moyamensing Ave iin South Philly (in Pennsport Plaza), OR Sarcone's Deli, 9th & Fitzwater..they use their famous rolls!!

The roll definitely helps; it must be crusty and not turn to mush when the Italian dressing is put on it. A good hoagie must also include Genoa Salami and Pepperoni for my taste. There are few places that have all of the above. If I ever find one...

It's the roll and the lunchmeat quality. White House in Atlantic City is the best. Sac 'o Subs is next best.

the roll is the key, and the lettuce must be shredded. the best hoagies are either in atlantic city, nj. at the WHITE HOUSE, or in newtown square, pa. at A CUT ABOVE.

Hoagies are NOT the greatest..if ur in philly, get the cheese steak....its the juicy steak they add in that makes it delicious! Pat's Steakhouse is the best

yes it is Primo's is good but only the one in south philly they opened others around the city but they do not compare. Also in the northeast there is a place at brous ave. and st. vincent street really good it begins with a "M"
