Danielle, I am so sorry the kids here are trying to make you feel bad.
*Kiddos, Paganism is a RELIGION. I don't look at you funny for worshipping a dead man on a tree or for not eating a cheeseburger*
That said, buy StarHawke's Circle Round book. We used that for years. It's filled with TONS of seasonal activities, stories, etc.

I was basically open with mine.......but just how other religions can push beliefs on to children, I did not. I allowed them to make their own decisions. They visited bible schools and churches with friends and family members at times with guidance from me, telling them to always keep an open mind and If it feels like this makes you happy it may be for you. They always knew my feelings and are grateful now for the things they have learned. They are very well rounded, knowledgeable in many different belief systems. I handed down Native American traits and pagan god/goddess teachings by offering info on the smallest detail. Things as drinking sassafras tea....teaching the origins of the root. That is a simple example, but I think you will understand what I mean. Everyone has the "old ways" within them, handed down from generations.....as a parent, it is up to us to continue teaching. Pagan ways, shouldn't be a social issue for children, it can and should be a simplistic way of life learned from the ways of the home.

Well, I'm very open with my daughter when it comes to my faith, but I don't push her to believe the same way. I've always let her observe rituals and participate when she feels like it, but I also let her explore what she believes. I've never told her "we're Pagans", I tell her "I'm a Pagan." She knows of my faith and she knows what I believe and practice, but she also knows there are other faiths out there. Give your kids straight answers and help them to understand your path, but don't discourage them from exploring on their own.
Good luck to you.

This is probably not the best place to look because people are quite oppinionated about religion on here. Maybe there is a book about it why not try amazon. Or you could try Steiner schools if you want your child to grow up being in touch with nature.

It is just like parenting children in any other religion. You teach what you know and believe, and you live it as an example to them.
An harm ye none, do as ye will
and ever mind the rule of three.
Got it?
