Why exactly do so many people in this forum think that death is bad? Most of the posts in here associate it with either Satan or some other type of Good vs Evil thing. Even people use it when they bash god here, such as questions why God lets people die.

I'm in no way religious now, but isn't death good? I mean now come on, seriously what do people think would happen to the natural resources of this planet if people were not able to die. Adolf would still be around, and Mr Bush would be chillin with him, ect.

Given the choice, I'd prefer life over death - speaking for myself anyway. I take your point, but I don't fancy becoming wormfood. I mean, death is a reality, but I'm comfortable enough with living.

Fear of death is very common. It can be a good thing though, fear of death motivates many safety innovations. It is also the one thing that brings some criminals to justice, because if they did not fear, they would not respect the guns of authority. Death is natural, but so is the fear of death.

Except for mind over matter, spirit over the animalistic--fear of death is naturally instinctive.

Sounds like you have been thinking.

Shhh, we don't want to give them any hints, they are supposed to figure this out on their own.

If these guys had their way we would all be stuck here for eternity.

This place is great to visit but I wouldn’t want to actually live here.
