Yes,Heaven Was Perfect. Satan Did Rebel Against God. The Reason For That Is A Little Thing Called Free Will. Just Like We Have Free Will,As Did Satan And Other Angelic Beings. He Wanted The Throne Of God For Himself And That Could Not Be Allowed. That Act Of Treason Was The Ultimate Unforgivable Sin. The Price Of Sin For A Mortal Was Death. Jesus Christ Came Along And Paid That Price For All. So That Is Why We Can Be Pardoned For Sin Now. Angelic Beings Go Under Different Law Than Mortals. Though I Could Not Tell You What That Is As I Do Not Know. After The 7-Year Tribulation Of Mankind,There Will Be A 1,000 Year Reign Of Peace Ushered In By The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ. After The 1,000 Years Are Up,Satan Will Be Released From The Abyss To Lead An All-Out Attack On The "New" City Of Jerusalem. In The Blink Of An Eye,All Evil Will Be Erased From Existance And A "New" Heaven and a "New" Earth Will Come Into Being To Replace The "Old" Heaven And The "Old" Earth. And The New Heaven AND Earth Will Indeed Be PERFECT In Every Aspect.

Yes heaven is a place of perfection. Some people or beings are never pleased no matter how perfect something might be. The devil is not doing whatever he wants to do in this sinful world. The devil is defeated and God is in charge. The devil will not even be in charge of hell as many people think. He will suffer an eternity of torment in a place that was created just for him in the beginning. Satan is thought of as being all powerful and that is not true. In Revelations the devil is bound and thrown into the pit by one angel. Satan is much stronger than mortal man and that is why he wrecks so much havoc here on earth. That is why Jesus stresses that we are to put on our Armor each day so that we might resist satan.

The devil doesn't have a place of his own where he can do what he wants. When all is said and done he will be cast into the lake of fire. Hell is a place for his torment as well.
Some people have this thing in them, myself included, that is very defiant and likes to point out the short comings and hypocrisies of authority. Maybe we want to be in charge. The devil is the epitome of that. He hates God because God is God and not him. So God decides to allow the devil to be part of a kind of litmus test for mankind, since God did give man free will. Will man choose to obey God or a usurper. In the garden man chose the usurper. Which means that we've been usurped. God had authority over us and this world, but He didn't want to have it by His say so, but by our choice. (Would you rather a robot wife or one who actually loved you?). We, by our choice, have given dominion to Satan. God immediately (Genesis 3) provided a way for redemption and promised a savior who would crush satan.
When Jesus announced the kingdom of heaven "is at hand" what He was saying essentially was that wherever there are subjects who are loyal to Him, there is His kingdom.
God knows that we are weak, and that we continue to sin- we even go against our own consciences- let alone His commandments. Heaven IS a perfect place where sin cannot exist (satan lived there until "iniquity was found in him") therefore we cannot exist there unless a provision is made. Since we have no "holiness" of our own we must borrow holiness from Jesus, so to speak. It is His holiness that gets us into heaven- not our own. God says "there is none good" and "all your 'righteous' acts are like filthy rags" compared to His holiness. So we have no hope without Jesus.
True christianity is not condemning of others. True christianity recognizes that we're all up sh*ts creek without a paddle- except if the paddle be Jesus.
I would talk further with you or anyone else about christianity- hopefully in plain non threatening language if you care to contact me.

What you don't understand is the fact that there are three heavens. The third heaven is where the throne of God is. It was here that Satan was cast out of and can not get back into. Today Satan and his angels are in the second heaven and he is the prince and power of the air. 2 Corinthians 4: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Ephesians 2: 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Satan and his angels will not be cast out of the second heaven until the tribulation period. Revelation 12: 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, Revelation 12: 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. Revelation 12: 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

By the understanding of St. Augustine (~400 AD), all angels were created good, but not in a state of perfect happiness or "Heaven," as you might call it. They did not have the perfect happiness of beholding God, and in the moment of choice chose the love of themselves over the love of God. After this test, the angels who chose God were given their perfect happiness with Him from which they cannot fall, and this is Heaven. The other angels, now called demons, have made their choice. I am not sure how to answer you last question except for that. These are good questions though.

Wow, interesting how you put this, and there has been a lot of debate on it. Heaven is perfection, but the angels do apparently have free will. Lucifer choose to go against God, and was cast out from Heaven (presumably to keep it perfect). Here is where it gets confused and I need to consult with some others to be sure of what is dogma. Lucifer is either stuck with, or chose, the task of supervising those souls unworthy of heavenly internment. In that way, Lucifer either fulfills a function in the grand scheme of things, as opposed to direct confrontation with God in all aspects. I don't buy this, but some new age people spout that off and it might fit with some things you thought.
My feeling is that Lucifer was cast out for going against God on something, and then chose to oppose him for all time in retaliation for this. That explains why Satan acts as the symbol of all evil in the world and is rejected by Christians everywhere.

the devil rose up against God because he wanted to BE God. he couldnt stand someone being better then he was. everyone controls what they do. as for gods reasoning in creating the devil, i am not for sure, you should take that up with him. but also God made hell so that all the sinners, non-believers, bashers, and everyone else like that would have a place to go, i think thats why he created the devil, so there could be a ruler, or what ever you want to call him, and YES God does forgive ALL sins, but only if you ASK for forgivness

The Devil is a fallen angel. Angels are very different from humans. Perfect for them is different than perfect for us. They are already powerful, but not completely. Perfection for them would mean being all-powerful. Only God is all-powerful. Therefore, to be all-powerful would mean that God would have to be overthrown. So the Devil tried to do that because he wanted all the power. Yes, heaven is perfect for us, but for an angel, it is not. Sorry that this doesn't answer all your questions.

the devil, is one of the intelligent creatures, BUT his pride brought him where he is right now, and that was his huge problem, he couldn't get over it, that he wasn't the one that god choose, for the salvation of people, that's why he rised against god, and some angels where on his site (-dark side), and some stayed at gods side (-the light), not god produced this enemy, Satan had chosen to go his own way, and we all know that gods biggest gift for all of us is the free agency to choose, since Adam and eve, yes god forgives BUT only we repent, and we ask for forgiveness, and no the devil cant do what ever he wants, actually he can only tempt us, we (people), decide if we walk in the dark or the light...did i answer your question???

The Devil wanted to be God.. he wanted the be the one in charge of the perfect place... just like us, Angels had their own freewill. God does forgive all sins EXCEPT Blasphemy.. which is what Lucifer did... he purposefully turned away from God after knowing his grace. Since he sinned and couldn't stay in Heaven, God had to create a place for him and his followers. He only gets to do what he wants until Christ returns, which is a short period of time when you imagine eternity... believe me, he isn't getting a good deal.
