I ask my Muslim brothers and sisters this question: I have done more for Islam than anyone since Mohammed(saw) since I converted, I hear Imams who declare bad fatwas and know nothing, yet everytime I apply to be declared an Imam, my request is denied. Is it because I am not Arab ?

I spend thousand sof dollars a year travelling and maintaining my websites (including the award winning islamalways.com) and still I can only call myself a sheik ? What do I have to do to become an Imam ? It is frustrating. I am thinking of leaving Islam.

Just to tell you all the questioner is a fake person trying to be disguised as a respected person in the NVA community. This person is a fake and needs to be silenced. It is not Yusuf Estes and he would not say these things. Let me ask you a question fakester...Why do you want to cover up the truth? Does it bother you that much that Yusuf Estes is helping people see the light in the thousands. (Mostly Christians)...You should ask God guide you and help you see the truth.

Why do you want to become an Imam anyway? You say yourself, I hear Imamas who declare bad fatwas and know nothing.... and if you know something and if you have a decent head, you will not become an Imam. People who are a bit educated (decently) nowadays have a lot of distrust of Imams. N those Imams won't like it if someone from their own group starts telling the truth.... U get my point. ? N if you know so much about Islam, u'll see that it is the true releigion so why would you want to leave it? Who do you want to please? Allah or someone else?

N there is something I want to correct you. I don't think you are the only one who 'have done more for Islam than anyone since Mohammad (saw'. They were the 4 right-guided Khalifas if you ask me. I'm sorry if you don't like my answer but I don't mean to be rude or anything.

It is very good that you have these Islam websites. Keep it up. May Allah bless you. Maybe, Allah knows something that you don't. Maybe, Allah sees that it is best for you not become Imama becasue of some unforseen reason that you don't know.

the last sentence "i am thinking of leaving Islam". shows me that you are not qualified to be Imam. Imam is not like priest in Christianity, there is no lords in Islam. everyone is equal except those who fear God the most.
i didn't know that there is a place where u can register as to be imam. and imam is the one who lead people during prayers and give advices by preaching.
anyone can lead prayers. but not everyone can just give fatwas except with certain knowledge and evidences from the QUran and prophet Muhammad.

Your efforts are commendable but tell me if you are doing all these to become a Imam.
I thought these all were to get happiness of Allah the Almighty. What shall you do after becoming Imam and losing Allah the Almighty's happiness.
May Allah the Almighty bless us all.

Perhaps you are too much of a publicity hound. Or maybe you haven't committed the terrorist act neccesary to become an imam.

Big guy, just give up.

They're all a bunch of terrorist nutters. Go to America and support George Bush, he's a real great guy. Most important man in the world.

Or maybe not.

jealousy, humility & patience could be something that is an issue for you, akhi. If in fact this is an actual brother.

If you are doing these things for recognition, you should reconsider your niyyat.

As-salaam-u-alaikum
