That is something that you need to let your potential partner know that you are not willing to do if you are not interested in marriage. Why should a woman waste her time with a man if he has no plans on getting married and that is her ultimate goal?

Soon is a relative term. To mosy men that I know soon could be two years. In my own opinion, if a man and woman have been together exclusively for a year or more and the spark has not faltered, why shouldn't they consider marriage, if it's what they both want. Too soon, is all a matter of perspective.

That's not always the thing, I dated a man for two years and he finally talked me in to getting a marriage licenses and it still took be over six months to set a date. don't get me wrong I loved him I just was not ready to get married. He died three years ago. I do not plan to ever get remarried.

We women are hopless romantics. We find a man who promises us everything under the sun, and we let out emotions take over instead of using our brains. It's so hard to find a great guy out there, and once we do, we don't want to risk it and let him get away.
