my friend was adopted...how can she find her birth mother?

she doesn't know anything except she was born in tampa, fl....she was told. how can she find her?

Here are some reunion registry websites ... fill out information at all of them.

These will help you get started.
Check with florida social services to see if you can get non-identifying information. Also see if original birth certificates are available to adoptees (some states they are, most not).

Do a google search for adoption registry, and register. If there is a match, both parties are contacted and if there is consent from both parties, identifying information can be passed along.

Their are usually records at the adoption place or other places. I would know what places to look for. If not very rare that you will find them.
