They won't leave, and they just stand there. How do I politely ask them to leave?

well, its because your so damn cool of course. who wouldn't want to hang out with you??? who?.. they're probably following you home from work where you wore those amazing @$$less chaps. see, they all want to dress like you now. next your see neon colored hair and striped red @$$less chaps in all of the magazines and you could make a market out of it. of course, i get 30% of all profit, and you get to claim the wonderful idea and all of its glory. now, aren't you glad you wore the @$$less chaps after all?? i thought so.

At night they come to life. Leave a note for them to read when they awaken. Tell them the shop down the street needs mannequins. Leave some clothes too, they won't want to go out naked. They should be gone by the morning.

Why don't you "pose" that question to them. Perhaps they aren't in a "position" to leave yet. Have they "displayed" any unusual behavior? I hear at night they actually come to life and no telling what they can do to your basement. Perhaps be a "model" citizen and put them in your car and drive them to the nearest department store and lean them up against the window. I'm sure someone in there will then be a'dressing" the issue promptly!! Good luck! :)

I'm not sure if there is a "polite" way to ask them to leave... they take offense easily and can quickly get out of hand when provoked. be careful because they tend to grow roots if you leave them there for too long and can ruin your basement floor.

Tell them if they don't leave immediately you are going to break out a vat of mayo and will smear it all over their bodies and make them play naked twister with you until someone's head pops off.

it seems my friend, that you have an infestation.
You will need to contact a catholic priest for this one, he will be able to perform an exorcism.....if this does not work, you will need to find a new place to call home. I had this happen to me once, i had to move, and the stupid things followed me....
