Base on what you wrote. This guy is not Worth your time and effort and is only there to suck you dry like a vampire emotionally. If some one likes you the way you cared about him, he would not make fun of you and see you as a unique person.
It is best to talk things over with him and see if he will change. You are not his servant to do chores for him and for him to treat you like that. If he don't want to change call it a day. move on from there.

I would say that you are not married and if you don't like him for these reasons, you should leave. You could be sensitive, or he jokes around too much, or he likes to put people down to make himself feel better. Either way, you are saying that you are not compatible with him and that means you should cut it off. DON'T do what most people do, and stay with him until you find someone else(cheat on him--it's still hurtful to dump someone for someone else also--it's still cheating him).

Sounds like he is a jerk. He wouldnt hurt your feelings like that if he really cared. I would dump him. All the things that upset you now are just going to drive you more nuts if you stick around and put up with it, cause he probably isnt going to get much better.

I'm glad you realize that he's not as great as you had previously thought. I have found that people with such high opinions of themselves and such low opinions of others are very difficult to live with.
My feeling about dating and love is... you should be with someone who makes you want to be a better person, who makes you feel smart (but you want to be smarter), someone who makes you feel beautiful inside and out. Never stay with someone who makes you feel bad about yourself.

He is trying to manipulate you into being someone and something you are not, a relationship never works out to be good when one is treating the other the way you have described.

It sounds like you already answered your question.
If his opinion is worth more than your self-respect, then by all means, stay together.
But you and I both know that you deserve somebody that appreciates you, for being you, and not blindly following his demands.
Good luck on finding a better, more respectful BF! :-)

He's way too self-centered. Even if you kept seeing him, it probably wouldn't go anywhere.
