Right now, a big black thing in the middle of her teeth, but I think she is ragging and dont want to stir a commotion.

It depends.

If you are going to be home for the rest of the evening and she won't be seen by anyone, no big deal.

If she will be in a situation where she would find it potentially embarrassing, she might get mad at you for not telling her. You could just say something like, "Honey, I thought you ought to know that you have something in your teeth. I don't want you to be embarrassed when you go to ."

By the way, no offense, but I kind of resent when men use words like "ragging" to talk about menstruation. It's a normal body function and nothing to be afraid of, but words like that come across as immature.

Would you want someone to tell you you had a booger hanging out of your nose???

If you can't handle the temporary discomfort of providing a simple service to your partner... well you should work on becoming more comfortable...

In these cases it isn't the message but the delivery that causes the grief: Hey woman you gots crud in yo teeth or Name, I think you'd better look in the mirror - I think I saw something on your teeth...

I would definitely not let it slide. Especially if she can be seen by anyone else. It might be a little embarassing for her but she'd rather have you-someone who cares about her-tactfully say "hey go like this" and make this little face--> :D and then tell her that she has a little something there than to go on being seen like that all day. She'd be much more angry then.

If she's not in a position to be embarassed, let it slide. Otherwise you might say, "Honey, you might want to check your teeth in the mirror".

Disclaimer: I am not married and have no idea how this would go over in a PMS state.

Awww...c'mon, BE A MAN!!...Give her a big, sloppy, smack-a-roonie and suck that baby outta there!!!...Lol, just kidding. Just say in a soft, kind voice "Hey hun, not sure but I think ya got something in your teeth." If she's ragging, she'll be more pissed off if she knows you knew it was there and didn't tell her!!!

Believe me, honey, if you don't say something and she sees it, she's gonna be mad at you for not saying something!

My husband and I point at our own teeth to indicate a crud in the other's.

Well, since she is your wife, you should feel comfortable enough to tell her. Heck--I tell my friends if they have something like that even. So, just tell her or wait for her to brush her teeth tonight.

"Sweetie, you've got something in your teeth."

Just tell her SOONER rather than LATER, because if she finds out about it from someone else, there is no nice way of saying "You married an inconsiderate jerk who lets you walk out of the house looking ridiculous."

be honest with her. she might get mad at you if she can easily be embarassed and would have wanted you to have told her first. just say "hey hun, there is something in your teeth that I think you should check in the mirror".
