I had the same problem and did everything that you are doing with the same results...none! I finally made my Dr. listen to me about how uncomfortable I was and she prescribed Polyethylene Glycol and it has worked! It's a powder that you mix with water and drink every day. It works as a stool softener. You will still need to keep up your current regime ( it is healthy) but this will ensure smooth sailing every day. It is worth the visit or maybe even a call. It comes in generic too. Good luck, I know what you are going through.

There is a herb called slippery elm. try that it comes in capsule form. or cheaper if you just buy the powder at a health food store and then mix a teaspoon with a half glass of water and swallow down.. It can, if desired, be flavoured with cinnamon, nutmeg or lemon rind.

To remove the condition as we have over the system, take that into the system, into the intestines and stomach, those of a nature which acts to the rebuilding of forces and as an absorbent to remove the acidity state in the stomach and intestines: First, into the system what we have now; plenty of water. Cleanse out as much as possible. Then to the system that of water carrying the cellular force of elm. That is, water produced from the bark of the elm, to act as a rebuilding force to the mucus coat of the intestine and lower duodenum itself.

---Medicinal Action and Uses---Demulcent, emollient, expectorant, diuretic, nutritive. The bark of this American Elm, though not in this country as in the United States an official drug, is considered one of the most valuable remedies in herbal practice, the abundant mucilage it contains having wonderfully strengthening and healing qualities.

It not only has a most soothing and healing action on all the parts it comes in contact with, but in addition possesses as much nutrition as is contained in oatmeal, and when made into gruel forms a wholesome and sustaining food for infants and invalids. It forms the basis of many patent foods.

Icebreakers mints will make you go to the bathroom if you eat enough. There are some other breath mints that will make you go too but I can't remember the name (on the container it says 3 hour breath control or something like that). You might need to use a maximum strength laxative! Take 2 of the max strength. Regular laxatives don't work for me either.

I'm surprised that laxatives aren't working. I used to suffer from this when I was younger and my mother put me on a strict fiber diet. I drank prune juice on a daily basis. But sometimes that doesn't always work, so I was forced to get an enema. Ouch! It helps.

Beside eating fiber, fruits, etc. one needs to exercise. Just do a little walking and that usually helps stimulate the digestive system.

try a little bit of phospha soda. Its used a lot for a prep when having a colonoscopy. It tastes like crap, but it cleans you out pretty well. Only use small amounts, and mix it with a clear liquid.

Have you tried exercise? But regardless you need to do all these things listed above AND see a gastroenterolgist. He/She can do tests to determine if there is a blockage somewhere.

Don't wait. Do this ASAP
