Enough with the athiest talk. I mean come on...
I have never condemned another person for their faith
or un-faith, is it so hard for others to do? It's really sad
when Athiests are MORE accepting of you than OTHER
chrisitans ( not that athiests are close minded or anything )
Of course they always say "The mormons (LDS) arent
REAL christians"

Why can't we all get along?
Of course if you don't practice exactly how THEY
practice you are EVIL. Especially when they
say " im not judging you, but the mormons are all going to hell"
LOL! The nerve!
I usually say " well, i dont think either of us are going
to hell" that usually gets a good eye roll.

If you want people to accept your beliefs, shouldn't
you naturally accept others?

Or am I living in a dream world here?

Also on any Christian forum or question,
we are always barred from answering
or our opinions are ignored. The catholics,
The protestants all are welcome..oh-Except
the MORMONS!

I think Athiests and he Jewish People
have been the most kind to me and my
religion of all. Man does everyone hate
us??

Well, it seems unlikely that everyone is right, so I don't see the need to accept everyone's beliefs. I do, however, see the need to be respectful of everyone. Calling someone evil is generally not considered respectful. Everyone has the same right to their beliefs as I have to mine and so it makes sense to try to understand what people believe and why rather than simply asserting they're wrong. And yes, if people claim to be Christians, they at least ought to have the decency to try to act in a Christ-like manner. I don't think even Jesus won many converts by yelling at them.

Right back at ya: If I was running in a long race with thousands of other people, and I knew there was a canyon right ahead of us, would I keep running straight ahead? No. We'd fall off the edge! But what if I walked along the edge of the canyon a little and found a bridge. The logical thing to would be to show as many people possible to it, and cross it! I would be saving them from falling off the edge, which would be certain death! It's the same way with real life: as a Christian, I'm pointing people to the real bridge. The Athiest only pretends the canyon isn't there, and keeps on running, ending up a broken mess - at the bottom of the canyon. They deny what I tell them.

The only atheism is the denial of truth.

I'm just trying to show people to Jesus: the true bridge. God bless!

Judging belongs to the Lord. We only get saved by the mercy and grace of God. We all fall short from the glory of God.

It would be nice to get along, to live peacefully while here.

I personally want to spread Gospel, and that is that Jesus loves you. As we have a lot of choices here on the earth, there is only two choices what comes to the eternity, hell and heaven. And that is what the Bible teaches.

If people do not want to accept this free gift ( it is free but it is not cheap, Jesus paid a big price for it! ), that is OK...I just personally want to inform people what they are up against if they do not accept it. I do not send anybody to hell. Whoever will go to hell, that is their choice. God wants us all..but what He can do if you desided to live your life ignoring His simple rules and you say that all other gods are ok, and we should let anybody to believe what they want to believe. This is not a popularity contest.

The dream world starts after your die, then we can finally live in unity! Until then I will serve the Lord, my Savior. And I want to take as many people with me as possible.

God bless!

it isnt a question of being closed minded, it is a question of having a belief system based in something other than fact. I could say that I believe the God of furniture is alive and well and use the Sears catalog as a frame of reference and spread this to others as sound truth, but that doesnt make it so.
If beliefs are against what God says is the truth, then why should they be accepted as true?

You can accept anyone's beliefs you want to, but you can not be a Christian and accept anything except what the Bible teaches. Anything else is a false religion-I don't care how close it may resemble Christianity.

You know what?

Your not saved, by believing MY beliefs.

Your salvation is based on The Word and Scriptural acceptance of Jesus Christ. Period. I don't care what anyone tells you.

Bottom line is this:

You accept Jesus Christ scriptural, according to HIS plan, or you don't. This is not open for opinion.

Good Question. Have a good week.

I'm neither a believer or non-believer but I am spiritual and am not here to attack or criticize but to understand and in that manner grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Sadly, a lot of people in these forums posses none of the qualities of true human communication; understanding, willingness, openmindedness, and kindness.

i have asked very similar questions and gotten some interesting responses. all seem to agree we need to get along but then none of the instigators seem to answer the question. i happen to be a pagan (celt) and i really don't agree with the mormon religion but i do respect you for having beliefs and being willing to stand up for them.

There is a difference in condemnning someone and telling them the truth. If you were walking down the road and there was a serpent waiting just ahead to strike you, would you not want someone to warn you? I sure would

you're living in a dream world sadly. we SHOULD be accepting of other peoples faiths but, it seems that some always have the need to voice their beliefs superior than that of others
