Unless it was only a scratch, either have your insurance company pursue her to collect for damages or hire an attorney to do so. Play hardball. You may end up with nothing but she should lose her license. She may kill the next person she hits. You owe it to the next driver that she learn financial responsibility from this lesson.

You go through your insurance, and your insurance will go after her personally. If they get your deductible back, they'll reimburse you.
These things can take YEARS, and just because they get a judgement in court doesn't mean you actually get any money; so you're better off letting them use their attorneys.

Getting an criminal specialist will fee more desirable than the deductible. when I promote a coverage, I continuously propose now to not get more desirable than $500 ded. you are able to take the different party to small claims courtroom. Your Agent is in simple terms reciting what you agreed to on the coverage once you got it.

Yes, go after her. Otherwise you'll pay through the nose to repair your own vehicle. It is irresponsible and illegal to drive without insurance.

You should try to settle it w/ her. Get an estimate and see if she can pay it. Then go to the police if she won't comply. They should be the one who takes care of it.
