Neither Jesus nor his Father hate them. What they hate is the practice of homosexuality. The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their inhabitants were destroyed for practicing gross sins such as that. Those who practice homosexuality can change and have a good relationship with God. ! Corinthians 6:9-11 attests to that fact. It reads: "What! do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God." (NW Tran.)
Also Acts 3:19 reads: "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." KJV

God loves all mankind--that is why he gave us his Word to help us to keep on the right path and also sent his Son down to earth to be a sacrifice for our sinful condition.

God does not "hate" any of his creation. This would be totally against the teachings of Jesus regarding love for self, neighbours and enemies.

I really do think that many Christians are acting as if they have to do God's job. God is the final judge of all things. His children are to spread the "Good News" and love p[eople into the kingdom of God.

It is possible that many of today's Christians are like the Pharisees who debated with Jesus.
They are more hung up on "the Law," than the love of God.

Some Christians do. But a real christian knows that God excepts and love everybody. Because you go to Church does make you a christian. A christian should be a person that follows God example which is love. Love thou neighbor as you love thou self. That means gay, straight, rich, poor, elderly, Black, White and Jews etc. Anything we hate that is different from us or what we believe in. Those things that I mention is a neighbor love them. Remember no sin is greater than another sin its all the same in God eyes.

anybody who can make a truth that God hates any human isn't a Christian. God hates the sin yet loves the sinner. I surely have in basic terms been on YA about 4 months and that i have not considered such disrespect and hatred spew forth from all people in route of Christians, gays and atheists. i have no gay or atheist friends as i'm a Christian, paintings for my church and do not come upon any that i recognize of. I pray for the rude and obnoxious human beings on YA. they have souls too.

God does not hate anyone. Jesus does not hate anyone. God Loves us so much that He sent Jesus to die for us,
Jesus Loves us so much that He came and died for us, He did not have to. God and Jesus only hate sin. God and Jesus both Love the sinner and sin is sin in the eyes of God. No big sin. No little sin, just sin.

God hates sin. And God made man to be united to a woman. Any straying from God's original purpose is sin.

So no, God doesn't hate a gay person. God hates the sin that the person is committing. That person can confess the sin and try to not live that way anymore.

Not all Christians think so. Most of us believe that God loves all his children.

A lot of Christians have chosen a couple lies out of the Old Testament, which were repudiated by Jesus (you are a new creation) to condemn us. But remember, the predecessors of these people also used the Bible to justify slavery 150 years ago, and other Christians spoke out and we ended slavery.

I think its more like the so-called Christians that hate gays. Although I believe (personally) that there are ample admonitions against homosexuality in the Bible, but NOWHERE in the Bible do I see a mandate from Allah (SWT) to "take the law into your own hands", or be "judge , jury, & executioner".

If homosexuality is against the laws of Allah(SWT), I am certain that HE, and HE alone is more than capable of rendering judgement.

In the meantime, let's do what He did say to do:

"Love one another as you love yourselves"

Apparently there are a lotta people who totally hate themselves...

No, biggots think that. Good Christians understand that God is Love. And they have other things to worry about than who's ******* whom, like trying to keep children from starving to death every day.

The thing you have to remember is that good christians are as embrassed and bothered by those asshats with the TV shows and radio shows as you are.

Any person who remains in their sin whatever it is with out repentance (a turning away from sin) and forgiveness in Christ is under the wrath of God. It does not matter what sin or who. God is no respecter of persons. God says it Himself below:
