You're kidding, right?
You don't actually believe in "psychic" phenomenae, do you? Do you actually believe that people can "predict" the future?? C'mon now, you have to know that ESP isn't real.
Ummm......
(I'm trying to say something nice to you here, instead of calling you a complete idiot.....)
Ok, here goes:
Babe, that stuff isn't real. Nobody can predict the future....No one has "psychic ability"....you've been tricked.....
Ummm....
Oh the hell with it! It's no use! You ARE a complete moron if you believe in that crap! There! I said it!
Wise up, babe! If you keep believing in that sh!t, people WILL take advantage of you. You will die peniless and confused. That's no way to live your Life, hon.
I actually feel sorry for you.....

How to explain premonition, precognition, and ESP? Easy. They don't exist.
Magician James Randi has been offering a $1,000,000 prize for many years to anyone who can reliably demonstrate any of the abilities you have stated. So far no one has been able to. The "psychics" fall into one of two categories: people who genuinely believe that they are "gifted," but cannot maintain any sort of accuracy when put to the test, and outright frauds. The frauds tend to stay away from Randi's offer as their techniques are rather transparent. This is not to say that he does not have videotaped evidence of a few "psychics" peeking or otherwise cheating. If psychic phenomena were real, don't you think the prize would be claimed?
The US Air-Force spent decades working on a "remote viewing" program in an attempt to have "psychics" spy on the enemy from a distance. Even with their huge taxpayer funded budget they were unable to find any sort of psychic ability. The program has since been disbanded.
The Monroe Institute in Virginia was the world's leading research facility into "Astral Projection" for decades. They have recently admitted that there is no such thing as an "out of body experience." The people who experience such things are actually engaging in a form of lucid dreaming, making such events introspective, yes, but not a form of travel by any means.
With all of this evidence I think it's fair to say that if the book on "psychic ability" is not closed, it's pretty close. Forgive me for not being able to take your word that "it does exist" in light of all this information.
Interestingly enough you have touched upon a subject that atheists and theists tend to agree on.

Pretty long sequence of words we have here, in this 'question'. Difficult to understand how one statement is related to another. Yet I'll try to answer:
If some phenomenon really exists and observed, then sooner or later it becomes part of science, and, as our long experience shows, it gets researched in all detail. This happens again and again through our history. Scientists are first happy to find something new and contradictory, because it allows expanding our knowledge. On the other hand, if something can never exist and can never be observed, then it is one’s private matter to enjoy the fiction or – better – to make art out of it. I personally had never seen any evidence that somebody has created the world we live in. We do have good extensive knowledge about a lot of phenomena that happened in last ~13,000,000,000 years and our knowledge seem to continue to grow.

Collective Sub-conscious, hon. I truly see your point and why you believe what you do in this respect, but perhaps, if you are confident in your faith, or willing to accept an expansion to your beliefs, you should look into the theory of what I mentioned.
I have been a fairly prominent christian in my time; I am no longer, and for me, that is good. I discovered this 'collective sub-conscious' many years before I actually found out other people had experienced similar...I truly thought I was mad before then, lol!
I won't go into it here, because I probably would sound totally insane to anyone who had not experienced it, let alone heard of it, but it really does go some lengths in helping explain the things you are questioning about.
I am still very much a spiritual person, by the way. It is not synonymous with religion.
:)
If you seriously consider yourself to have an open(ish) mind, I would be happy to share with you a link to my 360 page, where you can read my experience of this, concerning my premature born Son.

Having E.S.P. does not mean a grand designer. Scientists have begun to discover something else in the brain. A "God" gene as they called it. Whenever Nuns, Monks, Priests were having a "spiritual" moments, there was a chemical reaction in the brain. Giving the person feelings closely associated with having a religious experience. Now, did a creator place that there to make you think you are one with God, if it was only in your mind. Or is that the work of 5 million years of human evolution. From our earliest ancestors to today.
We are here by sheer cosmic chance. There was no design or plan to our creation. The Universe is filled to the brim with the same chemical reactions that made our planet and all the life on our world. It is only up to us, to give our lives meaning. No one is going to do it for us.

James Randi offers a 1 million dollar prize for anyone that can prove they have psychic abilities under controlled scientific conditions for over the past ten years. So far no takers.
Ever hear of a psychic that won the lottery?
John Edwards is the greatest douche bag in the universe. His only scam is that he's a cold reader. He screws with gullible vulnerable peoples emotions.

Physics do not exist. People really cannot levitate objects with their minds, predict the future, or talk to the dead. If anyone could do any of these feats then people would test them and publicly proclaim that they have powers. In fact there is a man named James Randi who has been holding a challenge for many years. If anyone can prove that they have these powers he will give them 1 million dollars and not one single person has ever won.

I'm not an atheist, but i am an agnostic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agnosticism) and my theory is that we only have 5 senses but there could be thousands of other senses we are not capable of knowing. one example is radio waves, totally undetectable by the human body. so there could be some type of ESP sense waiting to be discovered, but maybe only by technology. I believe our limited view on this universe is the same as the limited view a tree has on humans. we fear the unknown and like to put it all in neat little packages to make us feel better.

I know I'll never convince you that ESP, astral projection, astrology, tarot cards, love potions and the rest are nothing more than superstition and fakery. Nevertheless, this does not change the fact that they are superstition and fakery.
What you and I choose to believe does not alter the facts. Truth doesn't depend on us. It is what it is. A is A and nothing else.

I have not seen any proof that psychics are psychic seen no proof of anyone that can see in the future. Be cool if someone can prove that to me though. People have told me they're psychic but when they tell me they've been very vague. It's not proof to me.
