Yes it is safe, it is often as healthy as fresh. Sometimes healthier, as the vegetables are picked and packed a the peak of their freshness. Commercially available frozen vegetables are also IQF, individually quick frozen, so that they retain their texture and color.

To address the response that they are "uncooked" so don't eat them if you wouldn't eat them raw, that is incorrect.

Freezing a vegetable, or any plant material breaks down cell walls in much the same way as cooking does. Surely you've noticed that thawed out frozen vegetables or fruit do not look like fresh? They are also often blanched before freezing.

If they are commercially available frozen vegetables should be just fine to eat.

Enjoy!

I've done that for years and I'm fine...but I let them melt just a little bit first.

See, I have this whack theory that boiling the veggies causes most of the vitamins to be released into the water, so you might as well just chuck the veggies and drink the water.

Yes - I eat frozen vegetables out of the bag, and I've not had any trouble with doing so. They're good that way!

Yes you can feed your fish peas. Get the frozen peas out of your freezer (they must be frozen peas) and thaw them. Once they are thawed take the skin of the pea by squeezing it, the pea should fly out. You MUST take the skin off, as fish can not digest the skin. Once you have completed this get a fork or a knife and mash the peas up. Then they are ready to be fed to the fish. Put the peas in the tank in small chunks so the guppies and tetras can eat them. Feeding them peas is great for preventing swim bladder disease, they act as a laxative. Swim bladder disease is one of the most common freshwater fish disease, it makes the fish lose it's balance and buoyancy in the water and it will appear to be almost drunk when swimming. I suggest peas should be PART of your fishes diet. It shouldn't be there complete diet. Their complete diet should consist of bloodworms and pellets/granules, depending on what the fish like. But for now it is fine to feed your fish peas, but tomorrow get other food as well. Good Luck.

Depends on the vegetables. If it's ok to eat raw then it's ok to eat frozen. But any veggie would taste much better fresh :)

It's probably not great for your teeth but you should be fine. Most vegetables are cooked to mush in boiling water before they get frozen.
