just leave them alone, when they calm down, they will unstick by themselves, pulling will only make it worse. Also, there's a really good chance the female will be pregnant now.

The male is releasing sperm, and making sure the female stays still till the sperm takes hold, if she mates with another dog then the first dogs sperm will have established the best eggs the female releases.

Well... If you didn't want them to breed, you should have kept them apart.

Now, you leave them alone, they will come apart in about 20 to 30 minutes, give or take a few minutes.

Throw some water on them..this happened to a dog in my neighborhood and someone did that and it worked!

that is what happens the boy's "thing" will go back to normal and they will seperate it is called being tied if you really don't want them to be "tied" i have heard a cold water hose to the face of the male will help you probably have pups on the way now, good luck

This is known (unofficially) as "knotting one up". It's normal and if they've gotten that far, there's no need to break them up, the deed is done.
It occurs to prevent "leakage" and better insures she will "stick"

its actually normal for that to happen, but if you really want to break them up spray them with a hose pipe...
