Dr. Colin Patterson asked this very question when he started to doubt evolution. He posed the question to many groups including the Evolutionary Morphology at the U of Chicago. His reply every time....

SILENCE.

UPDATE: Notice NOBODY gave any evidence of evolution, they just say... there are fossils (which don't prove evolution, they prove something died) And they say, humanss are getting taller, which proves that ...humans got a little taller (eventhough we find many giants...) BUT NO ANSWERS

Well, I know that it occurs over very, very long periods of time by simply DNA mutations which are occurring all the time. I know a lot of scientific facts about evolution on a genetic level, which, unless you're a scientist, you probably wouldn't understand.

I can tell you that it occurs all the time; that bacteria are constantly evolving in order to survive, especially with all the antibiotics now in use. I can tell you that two Princeton professors travel to the Gallapagos Islands every year and witness the evolution of the finches there, one of the things that helped Darwin propose his theory.

As someone else asked, can you tell me any one thing that is true about christianity?

A million things. All modern medicine and biology is based on evolution. Viruses and bacteria evolve all the time, and so different antibiotics have to be developed all the time.

If our human bodies had been "intelligently designed," we would not have useless parts, like appendices.

Whales and some snakes have remnants of legs and feet, which they wouldn't need if they hadn't evolved from some other form.

The enormous fossil record shows an incredible pagent of evolving forms of life.

Everything evolves. Evolution is fact. There is overwhelming evidence for it not to be fact. The down right ORIGIN is what is theory.

If you are going to look at it from a Christian point of view, there is no way a little over 2 million species walked off Noah's ark. We are still discovering new species to this day. Penguins didn't get off the ark and waddle to Antarctica and giraffes to Africa and so on.

Animals evolved adapting to their environments over MILLION of years. It just didn't happen from one day to the next.

Evolution is the product of the scientific process, the same process that brings us technology and modern medicine.

Evolution is hyped as a great antithesis to the Bible, but really the only people making a big stink about it are those who are afraid of their religion being invalidated by truth.

There, you get 2 things.

Name something that is true about creationism. You can't, and if you try to add something true about it, you will be posting lies. We have fossils, DNA, and common traits to prove that species evolve from each other. We have witnessed micro evolution, but no one lives long enough to see macro evolution. One example of micro evolution we have seen is the pepper moth, look it up.

Homo sapiens did not start out as homo sapiens. They evolved from lower forms. Archaelogical digs, especially by the Leakeys in East Africa, have shown this to be true.

There may be gaps in evolution, but there are many things left unsaid in the major religions.
Both require a lot of sincere study and faith.

its Gods finger print. Why are you afraid of facts if you had faith you would see evolution as the proof of Gods work. Gods work is visible the Bible is just a book that has many truths but if you take it as indisputable fact your telling me that God is an idiot. God is not an idiot if he wants to take 6 billion years and use evolution as his tool he can and we can see it with our own eyes and the evidence he left for us to see. DUH its stupid people who close there eyes who say he must have done it in a week. a six billion year project is much more impressive to me.

Evolution cannot offer any real hope or purpose. The Bible offers the Creator's grand purpose for our future. He has clearly declared his intent: "I will bless you with a future filled with hope."—Jeremiah 29:11, Contemporary English Version.
This is true.
