I'm trying to take my daughter to Detroit to see her great grandfather and great-great grandmother but I am on a tight budget. Does anyone have any suggestions on a site that may list discount airline tickets. ( If it makes a difference, I'm traveling from Atlanta to Detroit.)

www.expedia.com or www.orbitz.com are both good sites that search for the lowest fares. Or you can go directly to an airline's website to see if they are offering any kinds of deals. Good luck!

I use www.mobissimo.com it compares pretty much every site, including cheaptickets, expedia, and all of those. It gives you the prices right away, then links you to their site for purchasing. Just make sure you wait until your browser stops because it shows some results before all searching is done and sometimes cheaper ones come later. I always check the airline site and end up getting it from the airline.

PS when are you leaving and coming back? Tues and thurs are generally cheaper.

there are somewhat some web pages that you'll be able to seek for which will in all likelihood grant you with the superb expenditures accessible. look at the internet website BookMe and also you'd be able to analyze expenditures on all the respected commute web pages in only a pair minutes. that is totally reachable and could avert a collection of money and time. also, make sure to purchase them on-line... otherwise they value a lot larger costs for telephone orders. sturdy success.

The following are results from kayak.com ( they search major booking engines):

Cheapest I found was a $199 fare on Airtran, NONSTOP.

Hope this helps.
