Yes. The wellbutrin made me extremely quick to anger, more depressed than i was, more anxiety attacks, and also, i had suicidal thoughts, which were not present before I went on the medicine. The doctor took me off of it, and put me on Effexor, to no avail. Now I am on no meds for depression, because of the side effects.

I started taking wellbutrin at the same time I came off of buspar (for anxiety), and whether it was one or the other or a combination of both, I was very tense and anxious for the first few weeks. But I gave it a few weeks, and now I can't imagine not having the wellbutrin - I feel more like myself than I have in years. So no, I didn't have any anger issues, but I can see where it would up your anxiety/tension levels which could make you more short tempered.

Yes I was put on wellbutrin and it didn't help at all. I didn't have no side effects either. No anger. But if your trying to quite smoking you will have anger from that. Ask your doctor to try something else, because it is not working for you. Good Luck! Hugs!

I have had that experience with Wellbutrin the feeling is edgy and quick to anger as well as some shakeyness. If you bear with it for a bit the feeling should stop or you can talk to your doctor about cutting the dose and move it up slowly.

Yes, absolutely. It also made me get horrible anxiety. I took Wellbutrin for post-partum depression, the depression went away but too many other troubles showed up to make it worth taking. My Dr. switched me to Zoloft and it worked sooo much better. Try talking to your Dr. about the side effects you're experiencing and see if he/she thinks a change in medication would help you as well. Good Luck.
