I also believe Islam is the best religion.

1. It asks us to worship only one god - Allah.
2. It's the most forgiving religion, b/c Allah gives us so many chances to do good and to repent (and go to Paradise, insha'allah.)
3. It teaches us everything! (how to eat, sleep, pray, use the bathroom, brush our teeth, take a shower, etc.) (It's the only COMPLETE way of life.)
4. It gives us the greatest gift of the Holy Qur'an, which is a guide for ALL mankind!
5. It teaches you how to practically build your character to become a better Muslim, and therefore, a better person (by being kind and charitable to all around you, as well as through worship, like fasting, praying, giving charity, etc.)
6. Everything you do here will be accounted for in the Hereafter. You get a chance to do everything to your will, and you can expect a reward if you sacrifice the worldly goods for this life, and you are warned of a fair punishment if you do bad in this life (which helps to keep you and others out of danger.)
7. It's just GREAT! : ) With a CAPiTAL "G"! " :)

Asalamu Alaikum sister

As an American who was raised christian and has studied the worlds major religions and many of the worlds minor religions. I can tell you Islam is the Best. True Islam makes sense and there is no comparision between it and other religions. I do not believe in religion bashing because it only incites others. But if yo really want to know why I blieve Islam ist the best you can send me an email. Only Allah (swt) can guide and dispite all the lies about the teachings of Islam it still the fastest growing religon in the world.

There is no religion better than any other. On the other hand, religions have been dividing the peoples of the world instead of uniting them. I prefer to be spiritual and live my life within the confines of what is universal truth. Futhermore, there are certain things that must be done in our lives to assure that we live in harmony with ourselves and each other for instance; realizing and admitting that I may have a problem and seeking help for that problem, knowing what my faults and character defects are and correcting those defects, knowing what harm I may have caused to another person and being willing to make amends for the harm I've caused, when I am wrong promptly admit it, and meditate. These are only a few things that we can do in our lives that transcend religion and make us more aware of what is universal truth.

which is the best for you? does Islam give you satisfaction? do you feel spiritually connected to the universe, your higher self, and your creator? if you do, then it should not matter what others think. there is no one great religion that will save everyone and bring satisfaction and enlightenment to all. we all have different needs, we can't all possibly be touched, healed, and completed in the same ways. imagine the creator as the ocean. religions are the rivers and streams that flow into the ocean. all paths, all rivers lead to spirit.
pick the one that serves you best and makes you happy. don't concern yourself with what others think about your religion. be true to and listen to your own heart. it will show you your way.
good luck
bright blessings

Believe what sounds right to you. I have spent most of my life trying to understand why I felt uncomfortable around religion. I had to live at home longer than I wanted and was unable to explore religion without being criticized. Since I have found my loving and supporting husband I have been able to look inside myself and find what faith and god meant to me. As long as you are able to understand that not everyone will agree with you, I think you need to do the same. Do the research, look at other faiths. Find the one that fits you best. I wish you luck and wisdom in your journey.

Blessed Be.

give reasons for why you believe islam is the best religion

you cant say a religion is the best without knowing about all other religions

before making a life changing decision about what you believe, find the evidence that is out there and analyze it for yourself. beliefs are made up of all the evidence you come across and have analyzed; by ignoring evidence you are hindering your ability to find the truth

I don't know much about either religion but I do know one thing. You don't have to be ONE religion. You can be eclectic and take things you think are important and smoosh them into your own religion. If you don't like this advice, just go with the religion that is best for you and that you believe in most. Try going to one of the churches or meetings of both of these religions and see which one you like best. Best of Luck!!!!

Any religion is a form of domination.
Why if you are a female, you have to cover from head to toe, and your husband or bf walks like an occidental individual.
If you are a female why are you inferior to any man.
Why the man can have 7 wives, but a woman can not have 7 husbands?
God by whichever name created you equal, not inferior that should be the base.

It's all a matter of personal perception of different religions. People have different opinions on religions, so you have to study them to pick the one that's right for you, not someone else.
