how long can a man pay attention to a woman speaking during a conversation before he tunes her out?

wow, thats a good question. we're all guilty of letting our mind wonder. it all depends on a lot of things like, are we watching TV? are we watching sports? are we trying to read something? are we out with other people? is the wind blowing? are we breathing?
seriously pretty much anything distracts me. i think a lot of guys have a short attention span. unless of course our favorite team is on TV. so i guess to answer your question it depends on what your talking about. mine is usually about 10-15 minutes.

How can you think a mans concentration is any different than a woman's or anybody Else's? Everything depends on what's being said, who's saying it and how it's being said. If you're having tbl with someone paying attention to you, check out your delivery...and attitude first. There could be something there.

If you are asking about my husband???? 30 seconds!!! I was just talking to him about this yesterday. I went out to the garage to tell him a story and he literally walked in the house in the middle of my sentance!!! I said, why is it whenever I have to talk to you, you walk away... He goes, "I had to go to the bathroom!"
If it were the other way around I would have to sit there and listen about his day from 5:00 am till 2:00!!!!

which planet is lucky from (lol) look hon, everyone has a problem paying attention and men especially so. one guy told me they start out listening and then it seems like your voice turns into this continuous droning sound and if he knows you well enough he will be able to give the usual uh huh, hmm, and really where appropriate but don't stress it because like lucky said if he really cares he'll listen, all the best

If a man recently fell in love with the girl---endless. If he's been dating her awhile maybe 15 minutes---if he's married to her,5 minutes. This, of course is only if he is pre-occupied or has something else on his mind.

well if the conversation is good probally for awhile. if not he will turn you out right away. make sure you wear something low cut when he is talking to you that way you know whether he is paying attention or not.

My husband is gone before I even get started. I often say that after I married him, he went dumb, blind and deaf. Of course, if I put anything into an email I have a much better chance that he will pay attention...................

I don't think a man listens to a woman at all, unless there are a few key words thrown in: sports, food, sex, cars, and boobs.
