Find an aerobic routine on a video/DVD that focuses on the "core" or "abs." Cut down on fatty and sugar-laced foods too.

Do not make a high goal, first of all. It's a health risk to lose more than 3 pounds a week. Besides, that much in a week would probably be water weight, which comes right back.

Try push-ups on an exercise ball or try laying on an exercise ball, keep your feet up, and have you arms hold you up. Both of these flatten stomachs and increase your abs.

You can also try taking a walk for 30 minutes a day, adding 10 minutes each week. Once you get up to an hour long walk, start biking or running for 20 minutes a day, adding on minutes once again. By the time you are biking or running for an hour a day, just keep at it and you'll keep losing.

Remember to EAT YOUR BREAKFAST. Eating Breakfast will reduce your hunger and increase your energy throughout the day. You should have a large breakfast, smaller lunch, and light dinner. Or you can have multiple small meals throughout the day. Avoid snacking at night, and when you really want junk food, eat a half serving and substitute the other half with a fruit or veggie. Make sure you drink water too, it's helpful in losing weight faster. Be sure to lay off soda...it's high in cals.

My stomach went from 36.5" to 25" in 5 and a half months. I also lost 80 pounds of fat and gained 20 pounds of muscle..that's pretty decent, right?

Best of luck!

There is no way to lose fat from only one spot. Your body always burns fat from all over when you exercise, no matter what kind of exercise you do. So If you want to lose fat you have to do good calorie burning exercises like running or Bicycle riding at a good pace. Doing a variety of midsection exercises will tighten your waist. Do crunches, knee raises, and sideways situps. Don't expect too much in 3 weeks though. In 2 months if you work regularly at it you will definitely see a difference.

Don't eat more than 2000 calories a day. If you don't know how to count calories get a booklet with calorie information and keep track of what you eat and how many calories per day you eat. That way if you eat too much one day you can balance it out by cutting back more the next day.

If you want to lose 10 pounds really fast you could try the Atkins diet, but then you have to be careful not to gain it back when you go back to eating carbs.

Sit ups and abdominal crunches! You didn't state if you were in high school or college either way there must have been some exercises in physical education that you can remember. No easy way you just have to do the work! You could also eat more fruits and vegetables and less meat and white breads and starches and drink water at least 6-8 glasses a day. Omit the soda! Good luck!

I had one of the biggest about three months ago. People kept asking me was I pregnant. That really hurt my feelings. So I did something about it. I cut out all the greasy foods and snacks, and I started exercising in the privacy of my home. I ordered Comast On Demand and started doing Pilates everyday. I swear that really worked. Its going to be hard at first but the results are unbelieve!
