how would i start my own bloodline?

for instance is my labs bloodline is viking, how would an individual create their own bloodline, once they were a certified breeder?

do you mean as in a breeding program, and how you begin a kennel and become registered as a breeder?

Yeah...Elle is creating a NEW BREED!!!!!!! He want s to create a new line!!!!!!!!
Sometimes it is just a "kennel name" you are thinking when you say the line is "Viking". Even if you get a line established, you need to add other lines in the breed, or eventually you lose traits in the breed!!!!! You really need to research the breed you have, the lines within the breed and a LOT of genetics!!!!!!!!!!!! It take MANY generations and lots of time,money, and effort!!!!!!!

They mix certain breeds together so that it can better preform something like herding retrieving, etc. You would need to pick a couple of breeds to mix, but it takes many many generations to get any cosistancy. However don't go crazy breeding puppies just to create your own breed there are alot of dogs out there already that need homes.
