a busy body is a nosey parker who is someone who parks their nose where it doesnt belong ie to earywigg you have to put your ears within receiving distance of private conversation, and seeing how ure nose is the first part of your head (geometrically speaking) that would be in proximity to said conversation, the term nosey parker arose.
