Can somebody provide a simpler definition to scientology?

i laughed so hard when i saw the south park episode of tom cruise
i didnt get that much when they explained scientology
i went to a couple of websites but their explanation was too repetitive and not concise

Simple, don't do it. They think a dark Lord killed the aliens a long time ago, and the spirits went into volcanos, then into us. I think that is how it goes. I may have mixed it up with Christianity or some other religion.

Scientology is basic on a sci-fi novel written by a guy called hubbet. Basically they believe we are re-incarnated soul from another galaxy. To be a scientologist will cost you alot of money because they charge you to learn how to become more "enlightened". They have become a powerful force because of this money and you will find the more "enlightened " you are to richer you are, because you get funds to back your money making projects, which of course the organization takes a tax free cut of as they are a "religon" or "Church"

basically they go to these tutoring sessions that teach you to become a person above their emotions. You cant get angry or sad or depressed, its almost like they are God to not have to deal with the emotions. Its almost like its wrong to feel the "negative" emotions.

I dont know about you but I tend to get upset because a person cut me off on the freeway almost getting me killed. I can get upset but you can also control it. Idk its wacky to try to be almost a dull person that has no personality or emotions.
