No, God has not planned our lives in advance. We have free will and make our own decisions and can change the course of our lives at any given moment. God knows what will happen, but does not interfere with or control those events.

God does and will provide us with guidance if we ask for it. Guidance is provided in many forms including answered prayers, as well as spirit guides and guardian angels who remain with us throughout our lives. The help is there, we need only ask for it.

You are obviously uninformed about such things, although it is a reasonable question. When speaking of God's will two differences need to be understood. God has his sovereign will and his permissive will. God willed that the sun shine and the moon, earth and stars come into existence. This will always fulfills its purpose. When God commands (will) it happens! It is not God's will that people disobey his word, but people may and people do. The "permissive" will is different from his "sovereign" will. People who perform abortions (your example) are violating God's permissive will.

I think you could discuss predestination for hours and get nowhere... It's one of those unanswered questions that can easily get in the way of christianity. But God is Love and you have to believe... I have definitley struggled with that and many other things. And i completely understand athiasts questions....they are questions that are extremely debatable and it's nice to know that you are that intereste in other people's lifes and were you are going or if you are going when you die. Hopefully in the end you will find God. Hope I helped sorry If I offended you....

No, not in the sense that he plans what they will think, say, and do. And especially NO when it comes to where they will spend eternity.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11 (His plan)

Joshua said unto all the people of Israel: "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, CHOOSE you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15 (we each have a choice)

And he [Jesus] said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16 : 15 and 16 (our eternal condition is based on our response to God's word - whether we believe and receive it or deny and reject it)

I believe he has a plan for us and it is up to us to follow that plan. We do have free will though and that is why we stray. I also believe that God knows when we will stray and he already knows what our decisions will be before we do. God knows all and he knew us before we were born and he knows how our life will be. He knows how many hairs are on our heads and what our thoughts are. Just because we don't always follow his plan doesn't mean he doesn't have one.

No. God knows what we will chose in advance, but he gave us free-will. That is how sin exists. Sin is just the absence of God. Just like darkness is the absence of light and cold is the absence of heat.

No. we still make choices of how we live our lives. GOD only sees the decisions we make in advance. HE can only guide us toward HIS will which is for our own good. HE NEVER PLANNED THIS SINFUL WORLD!!! We chose sin over obedience. GOD wants EVERYONE in HIS kingdom. However, it is obvious that not everyone will choose HIS kingdom.

God gives people free will. Free will is the belief that humans have the power to choose their own deeds and decide their own destiny.

Given the list and answers I only reinforces my “belief” that no one knows! Has God already chosen that I have Chinese or Mexican tonight…

I wonder if he will influence my coin toss…

Jerimiah claimed that God already knew him, when he was formed in the womb. so therefore abortion is killing what God creates.
