What's the best software to back up my own DVD that I bought.
I tried AnyDVD, DVD Decrypter but no luck. Is there one package that will remove all protection schemes?
Thanks

I am surprised that Slysoft's AnyDVD didn't work. It is one of the newer dvd backup tools, which can decrypter many of the new encryption schemes on DVD movies. However, there is no shortage of free DVD backup tools. You can try DVDFab Decrypter (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download5168.html), Shrink to 5 (http://www.filehippo.com/software/dvd/) and/ or DVD Shrink (http://www.filehippo.com/software/dvd/).

Both DVD Decrypter and DVDShrink are no longer being developed or supported. The other two, DVDFab Decrypter and Shrink to 5 are both being developed. All of these programs are spyware and adware free. Important, download these programs from filehippo.com and majorgeeks.com. Both websites review and scan these programs before adding it to their sites. There are a number of malicious sites which advertise these programs but in fact the downloads are spyware.
