Ok,Go to http://www.petsmart.com
Go to the bird section and right down what i need.I'm willing to spend 100?On the bird.I'm getting a parakete.Please help me!!I would do it.But i dont tknow what ALL i need.So can you search and tell me the suplize?PLLEASE?Either e-mail the answers OR tell me them on here.I realy neede help.Thanks.

Ok I know what you need I'll list it

1. a cage measuring at least 24, 24, 18 inches

Parakeets are active birds that need a spacy cage to move around in.

2. Parakeet seed
3. toys, such as leather chew toys, bells, acrylic toys, and tissue paper from home
4. a plastic hanging dish
5. cuttlebone
6. a sand perch, a wooden dowel perch, 2 natural woode perches, one manzanita, and one any other natural material of your choice.
7. a swing
8. and something money cant buy, 2 hours a day of social interaction, and petting, and playing with you.

Also you should give your bird fresh fruits, and veggies in addition to the seeds.

You should be willing to spend more than a hundred dollars. This is just like any other pet and deserves only the best.

Recommend a sturdy cage or the ferret will have a very easy dainty snack. Supplies needed but not from petsmart.com.
1. Bird with clear eyes, nothing around the seer(area above nose)
Choose a trusted pet shop. Well known name brand isn't
necessarily the best or worst.
2. Best bet is a hand fed parakeet if you plan to handle it.
3. Purchase good quality pellet diet for longevity. Zupreem or
better. Always supplement with fruits and veggies.
4. Water bottles are more sanitary. You do not need grit
or sand paper but do need a concrete perch or pumice perch
to keep the nails and beak trimmed.
5. Purchase the largest escape proof cage you can afford and
make sure the spacing is small so the bird can't get out.
6. Parakeets like bells, swings and toys they can manipulate.
7. Now go shopping and have fun.

First your going to need a cage, not really large because one bird isn't that big, but if you want two or more you will need to enlarge.
Also a cuttle bone for the beak, a scratch stone for nails on the feet or rough purch, a water holder/bottle, food, food dish, small, some treat feed, and someplace for the bird take a bath when it want so a large bowl that he normally does not drink from. You put it in once a day for about 10 minutes. Also read up on the bird, they do sell books on them.

You will need to get rid of your cats and keep your dogs outside if they dont like the birds. And you will have to alter your entire life and your family too to make sure you never let your bird out of your cage loose in your house if you have alot of traffic in and out of your house all the time.
