Oh my gosh. Delta. Please, please do not choose Delta. From experience it was AWFUL. There planes are skinny, therefore your ears WILL be popping all the time. Chewing gum does not work on this plane. They have about 2 rows on each side of the plane. They have no tvs, and the aisle is big enough for one person to walk through. The popping of the ears are going to hurt really bad because the air pressure is much harder on smaller planes like Delta airlines. At one point, I really had a mingraine. I truly, and sincerely ask you to choose another airline. I really recommend you do. I wouldn't want you to go through what I went through.

I worked for Delta so I am biased. I would not fly any other airline as my first choice other than Delta. As far as Anastasia's comment every airline has fleets of different aircrafts. There are narrowbodies like MD-88's and 757's and you have wide body aircraft like 767's. The type of aircraft has nothing to do with your ears popping. Every airline has the same planes...it has nothing to do with Delta itself or its service.
Each airline has their pro's and con's. You will find good stories and bad stories about each. There are always delay's for weather, planes will have maintenance issues, there will always be a really good crew and a not so good crew or ticket/gate agents. Everyones experience is different and there is always the disgruntled passenger looking for a freebie and there will always be the passenger that has a really good experience.
So is Delta any good, yes...as a matter of my opinion I would say so. Again, I personally am biased and even though I left for another avenue Delta still is always my first choice for travel.

yes, i have flown delta airlines several times and never had any problems. safe and courteous attendants.

I haven't ended up flying anything else for years. I like them. They're reliable and on time.

I flew them from OAK-ATL-Orlando.
It was in August 2004, and they were all right. Got us there and back in one piece. :)
