our 2005 grand caravan stock radio did not have an ipod interface. I ended up installing a kenwood DVD/ navigation system.
If your radio looks like it would support a CD changer (does it have buttons labeled disc select?), then you can check out www.pie.net . At Precision Interface Electronics they make adaptors to add ipod or other items to the factory units's changer port.

The radio may have an aux input that you can plug your ipodin located ion the front or back of the radio. Also, the radio may have an interface for your ipod specifically located ion the back of your unit. If you have the owners manual to your caravan that should tell you. If not, stop by your dealership.
