First of all, you shouldnt be so hard on yourself. Your boyfriend is at least partially responsible for his own happiness. Secondly, for me, having an intelligent, faithfull, loving and non-materialistic woman who would love and accept me for who I am, flaws and all would make me happy. Also, Id be very happy if I were RICH. Since Im not likely to ever have either, Ill settle for being poor and alone.

A head rub, a back rub, a foot rub, tasty food, watching sports on TV or a trip to the ball park, or spending a few hours skateboarding or surfing or doing some sport he likes, or listening to music or dancing or creating something like art or music.

I need fullfillment from my woman, not just sexually, but knowing we strive to reach the same goal, and that she believes in me 100%. I wish she would talk more about this exact subject, AND how to make her happy, which makes me happy!

Ask him what he wants and needs to be happy. Then you'll know for sure. Though it very well may be something sexual.
My boyfreind was very depressed for a long time because I couldn't kiss him.

what makes most guys happy is someone who listens but isnt afraid to speak either. someone whos dirty in the bedroom but an angel when meeting the folks, someone whose at least good at pretending to have the same interest if she doesnt have them.

I cant speak for everyone, but tender loving care, really showing respect for my space. Acceptance, that you accept him the way he is. Small details, little attention.
Understanding, warmth, all that and many other things

i had the same problem. the most important thing i learned is that you have to learn about them. find out what makes them happy. ask about what they like to do, what their fantasies are, how they like to be treated, what they like to eat, what movies they like to see. its all about learning about a person, and then trying to do at least some of the things that he likes to make him happy. of course, if he blames you for his unhappiness, then thats his problem, not yours. you can contribute to his happiness, but you can be responsible for it.

He may need space. If what you're doing is making him unhappy, don't keep doing it. Hang out with your girlfriends for a while, and make him miss you.
