He is kind of both - as far as I know, regarding the holy trinity - the relationship between father, son, and holy spirit, in this case, God, Jesus, and the holy spirit, means that each of them IS all of them. Thus, Jesus is God, God is Jesus, but Jesus is also the son of God. There are so many different denominations and subdenominations of christianity that this probably doesn't hold true for even the majority of them.

Jesus is the son of God, God is Jesus' father. A son is <> to his father so Jesus is not equal to his Father but they both have the same purpose (John 10:30 compare with 17:21).

The Son of God refers to the visible body or the Divine Human form.
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is like the soul, the body and the works in a single person.

He is both...
We all can have several embodiments in a human sense. For example...I am mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin. That gives me five.
However, what most have a problem with is the FACT that God is three separate Persons in One Being.
This is a question of faith. Can you bring yourself to trust God enough to believe it when He says He IS.
Why couldn't He be 3 Persons in one being? After all He IS God.

According to my religion's teachings He is both. But, however that statement has confused me. I think that if Jesus was on earth then He was the Son of God. God does not seem like He would meet us on earth. If God created the earth, I just don't see him living on it. Surely he would not leave heaven unattended, so God sent His representative of Himself (Jesus) to us. Since Jesus was a representative of God then He was to be treated the same respect as God Himself, thus, he was also known as God. That is one reason to believe (an explanation) that Jesus is both. That is my theory, but I may have to think it over.

Jesus is the beginning of creation the only begotten Son of God, God has no beginning, he just always existed. God whose name is Yahweh in Hebrew, English translation is Jehovah, created Jesus to share his love, wisdom, justice, knowledge, and power with. It was through Jesus,(God's master worker and the Word, his chief messenger), that he brought everything else into existence.
