It's like that for me I think chi it's pretty expensive but it really works and it comes with a life time warranty and ceramic straighteners are also good but it has to be ceramic not just ceramic coded by the way in case you are wondering I'm a girl.

buy a straightener (ironer or what ever you call it) try buying the ones are made with ceramic, the hotter it gets the better your hair will look, I had to buy 3 before I got the right one for my hair, it's made by conair and it's golden (brownish) looking and the stuff that actually touches the hair is completely black....sorry I couldn't tell the name esactly but I don't remember...

It depends on if you have ebony hair or caucasian hair. If you have ebony hair, then you should use a great conditioner(Elasta QP- recommended) then use a high heat ceramic flat iorn (Chi). Then problem solved.

I like Garniea (I spelled that wrong, but you know what I mean)sleek and shine. I use a round brush and comb mine straight while I blow it dry. Good luck.I fight big hair daily. LOL
